I Blog, Therefore I Am

We are so afraid to change careers, to end relationships, to outgrow people or places—and that’s just growth. To me, choosing to go toward the cracking in order to keep expanding is the only way. The only way to get out of pain is to go through it. Pain is information.

I never realized what a big deal that was. How amazing it is to find someone who wants to hear about all the things that go on in your head.

There are those who were made for living and those who were made for loving.

I’m not looking for somebody who will whisper sweet nothings into my ear to feed the ravenous ego of my heart. But someone who can look me straight in the eye and say, I love you, whether you fail or fall, just as you are.

You know what pisses me off about this?  Really, REALLY pisses me off?  That’s George (H.W.) Bush holding that umbrella.  He was president 1981-1989.  Do you get that?
