(( In celebration, this blog finally has an icon drawn by yours truly! Yay!

I want to thank all of you who have followed thus far. This is my very specific comfort ship and my very specific portrayals of my favorite characters, so I wasn’t anticipating any more than a tiny handful of people to show interest in something like this that was purely self indulgent.

I promise if you sent in an ask, I have my eye on it, make no mistake! Drawing is just so taxing anymore but now out of school for a few months, I should have more time on my hands.

To also go over things I have planned beyond an art style revamp: stories!! Stories are what I have planned! I love writing, it’s just been so painfully difficult to overturn my writer’s block, but trust me I’m trying. If you have any story requests or suggestions I’d be delighted to try and tackle them! New ideas could really help the momentum get back. I could genuinely use them a lot, haha. I have a lot of drafts that got abandoned but I do want to write for the Monster Prom community… any feedback on your interest in seeing that is much appreciated!

There’s also the matter of pride month coming soon, and I have a plan for that too! It’s been a tradition for the past two years to have a full month of pride art featuring characters from my current fixation and this year will be no different. 2020 was Fossil Fighters, 2021 was Rhythm Heaven, and now 2022 will be Monster Prom! Ideally I’ll be making pride art daily featuring characters and my sexuality headcanons for them, hopefully ship art too!

And finally Calculester and Oz will, of course, still be here answering questions at whatever rate I can crank them out. Thank you all so much for supporting this blog! It means a ton to me to have 30+ people who enjoy this content I originally made just for my own enjoyment. Thank you to everyone for all the boosts you’ve given this blog and I hope to keep it going strong! It touches this little autistic heart of mine seeing you all like my comfort works so much. ))

It’s sort of strange… a-arachnophobia is one of the most common fears out there, and, I-I mean, I’m made of all the fear energy o-on earth and that makes me scared of most other things… bu-but something makes me like spiders instead of, ah, be-being scared of them. I guess every em-embodiment of fear still does have some room to be an individual, e-even if it isn’t much that I don’t even have much of a say in.

Also, I’m working on multiple fanfics, one is nearing completion! For those who are interested in my monster prom verse and the fics related to it, I might be posting one soon—though it is a heavier one talking about a lot of mental health things because comfort characters I project on go brrrrr

But I will nevertheless post a link here provided you guys are interested in reading my stories as well as getting my drawn responses! Any feedback, whether it’s a simple yes or no to being interested is really appreciated! Ideally I’m getting more time now to actually draw blog replies. ))
