If Kris/Susie had, for example, a cut on their hand in the light world and then they come to castle town where you can heal them, if they come out of the dark world without that cut, does that mean that the dark worlds aren't exactly "an illusion"?

I can only heal injuries that exist in the darkworld and were made in tge darkworld before they left. For instance if Kris lost their hand in the darkworld I could fix it. However if they left before I could fix it they'd be healed in the light world but once they returned it would be gone again, however I wouldn't have the ability to heal it.
