what are some less popular uconn paige games to rewatch? i’m a more recent fan and ive watched a lot of the big like march madness games but i want more im so greedy. felt like you were a good person to ask because im pretty sure you’ve been a fan for a long time
oh girl trust i’m the right person to ask i rewatch uconn paige games all the time like i mourn that shit. i’m just gonna go through my list of my fav games by her each year. i’ll only include the ones that have actual replays on youtube because unfortunately there’s several full good games specifically her freshman year and the 2023-24 season that are lost forever with no full replays to be found
2020-21 freshman year:
college debut against umass lowell. this isn’t like a crazy game and it’s such a blowout but i just love watching her get her feet wet for the first time and she was just so baby
seton hall december 2020. paige’s second career game and has 25 points. aaliyah also had a great game in this
tennessee 2021. not paige’s greatest shooting game but overall an entertaining game to rewatch imo and that last clutch shot with the busted ankle by paige gets me
arkansas january 2021. despite the loss, hella clutch performance by paige in the second half especially coming off that sprained ankle
@ depaul january 2021. might be a big east blowout but paige’s balance between scoring and facilitating in this game ate. christyn williams was also goated in this one
@ marquette feb 2021. another big east blowout but paige’s second thirty piece in a row (her 32 point masterclass against st. john’s the game before this doesn’t have a full replays anywhere but here are some highlights from it). matched her career high in threes made in a game (6, which she also had in the 40 piece against oklahoma) and was also a nika defensive masterclass
south carolina feb 2021. paige’s third 30 piece in a row and sooo clutch like my god. any game where we beat sc is a good game like cmon
@ butler feb 2021. not a great shooting night from p but this was the game with her career high in assists (14)
first round vs high point. paige’s march madness debut. def a blowout but such a solid game from her and aaliyah
sweet sixteen vs iowa. a quick offensive powered game with hardly any whistles. paige nearly had a triple double and cc lost so overall good i’d say
elite eight vs baylor. honestly one of my favorite paige games to rewatch. such an entertaining game overall and paige was great and her post game interview is so cute lol
2021-22 sophomore year:
arkansas november 2021. paige’s sophomore debut with 34 points. literally such a masterclass, 15–18 from the floor without a single three and still had that many
USF november 2021. jose appearance hello! just an overall great game from both paige and azzi, though im pretty sure one of the quarters is just ugly and terrible and stagnant to watch—the third if i’m not mistaken?
@ seton hall december 2021. honestly kinda a random game but i just enjoy the way paige plays in it, entertaining hoops
notre dame december 2021. this is the game that paige got hurt but overall it’s a very entertaining game and fun to watch up until the very last minute. you can also catch some baby soni and olivia miles hoops
st. john’s feb 2022. azzi masterclass and though not a crazy game at all from paige (she only has 8 points and like less than 15 mins im pretty sure) it’s just cute because it’s paige’s first game back from injury and she’s really happy when she goes in and she’s clearly excited to be playing again
big east quarterfinals vs georgetown. paige had 16 points and it was her first real good game coming off of her knee injury, definitely a bounce back and entertaining to watch
sweet sixteen vs indiana. not really a standout game from anyone crazily in particular but it’s an enjoyable rewatch for me
elite eight vs nc state. need i say anything more?
final four vs stanford. once again not a crazy standout game from anyone and kind of an ugly offensive game but idk. i haven’t rewatched it many times but i didn’t not enjoy it when i did
2023-24 junior year:
@ nc state 2023. we may have lost but i was soooo buzzed when i watched it the first time (albeit, that was live) because it was literally paige’s like second game off of her ACL and she already had 27
maryland november 2023. paige masterclass & feisty p a bit vs shyanne sellers. very enjoyable
north carolina december 2023. another paige masterclass. lord that arm sleeve was something else man
louisville december 2023. underrated paige game and aubrey masterclass
st. john’s february 2024. a good 26 points from paige and a career high game for aaliyah with 33 and 13
@ depaul february 2024. 30 point night for paige and a great game for aaliyah
villanova february 2024. it was villanova with lucy olsen’s bumass so obviously paige was fired up. at one point she was benched with 4 fouls and then when she went back in she cooked them so bad LMAO. she had 31 in this one
2024 big east quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship were all soooo entertaining from paige. my personal fav is the semi’s against marquette. the rebounding and blocks and the scoring is just wonderful
just the entire 2024 march madness run. man it was special. except for the iowa game. i refuse to rewatch that and bring back the trauma. first round vs jackson state, second round vs syracuse, sweet sixteen vs duke, elite eight vs usc (THIS is my favorite uconn paige rewatch ever. so so so good)
2024-25 senior year:
USF november 2024. another jose appearance and honestly just a hella underrated paige performance
north carolina november 2024. yo paige in that first quarter was on some fucking demon time bro. overall, a nice lil 29 points
ole miss november 2024. another paige 29 piece. also a great azzi game and gave us that wonderful infamous presser. became a bit of an ugly game but i’d rewatch
@ notre dame december 2024. i’ve rewatched several good paige games that end in losses but this is one that i haven’t. i just can’t rewatch the irish beat us like that. however, i do recall it being a good paige game (she had 25) so i’d say maybe watch it if you’ve never seen it
iowa state december 2024. the crazy ass 3pt magnet ball game. everyone ate
usc december 2024. okay another loss and when this happened in real time i was fucking livid. BUT i’ve rewatched it a couple times and paige vs juju is just so good and the second half comeback to take the lead was so buzzy and entertaining until they blow it
villanova january 2025. not the game with paige’s injury scare but the one with her near triple double. underrated and entertaining
@ south carolina february 2025. honestly this game never gets old. azzi’s masterclass and paige’s passing clinic 😍 plus blowing out sc 😍😍
