I suppose that’s exactly it. Love over hate. Every time. Oh, it’s fine. I don’t think we ever spoke while you lived in the Northside. But that makes sense considering you’re older and we had quite different friends.

We did, and I have to say that I appreciate you not holding any of those past behaviors against me. Especially since I told my daughter about the theater and she is vibrating with excitement over the prospect of getting to sing, dance, and perform. She has asked if it’s okay to bring Donut (her turtle) to come watch her practice when she’s spending time with Miss Rachel. Don’t worry. I already told her it would be more special for Donut to be surprised on show night so you won’t find a rogue turtle around anytime soon. She has been teaching him karate so. 

Oh to be young and have such a black and white concept of facts. I love hearing whatever facts Grace comes up with or recites out, and again, send my thanks for teaching this little nugget to read. It’s great that the girls can grow up together, Sophia is more than excited to start school so she can be just like Grace.

I’d must rather than Sophia for letting Grace teach her. She is so in love with living in all these different worlds. I should warn you that she’s apparently wanted to go all out for Soph’s birthday. She suggested we buy her a pony. 

I’ve been blessed. And hopefully the next generation will experience the same kind of love. Starting with Grace. Oh, no I don’t. We’re Jewish.

That’s the plan. The hate we give little kids fucks everyone so I’m hoping the love we give saves them. Ah, I didn’t realize. I’m afraid I didn’t pay much attention to anyone besides myself when I was on the Northside. So you celebrate Hanukkah then.

Rory: Yeah but I'm taking the opportunity as it presents itself. Grace is spending her first night alone with Kitty (which I was absolutely going to tell you but I got distracted) so I would kind of love the company too.

Marley: Yeah, I'm just going to keep my distance for the time being. Let him talk it out with someone who was removed from the situation. Stay at Pop's or whatever... I don't have much else to do.
