My dear @bloodiedpixie, this fic is for you. I am so sorry that I disappeared from everywhere all at once, and I am so sorry that it took me so long to come back. I've missed you while I've been gone, and I wanted to give this to you. It was going to be a just-for-fun present, and then a birthday present, and now it's just really belated and a poor reflection of how much I value your friendship, but I want you to have it anyway.
I don't think I'll be writing any more in this fandom, and I couldn't even reread canon to help edit this, and so I apologize that this fic sounds like it was written by someone who hasn't read Carry On in a while and instead read Boyfriend Material twenty times in a row before writing it. (That's exactly what happened, obviously. Sorry.)

Hi y'all! I know that it's been a while, but I am back to writing again! I really appreciate all of you who have tagged me in my absence, whether it was for a WIP Wednesday or a Six Sentence Sunday or something else - I love you so much ❤ Full disclosure, I am writing and scheduling this post on a Thursday, because I forgot to do it for WIP Wednesday and I don't want to miss Sunday!
The last bit of writing that I shared was crack, and specifically a fic where Baz has a booty and Simon notices (in the most oblivious way possible)... and I've returned with more of the same! I have to thank @bloodiedpixie specifically for this, as she is always a ray of sunshine in my dms, and a particularly silly conversation led to the idea for this fic.
“There are no dead bodies!” I shout, possibly a little too loud for the residential area we live in. “Truly, Pen, I was just distracted by Baz. That’s it.”
“Fine,” she huffs, and stomps back to her car to grab the abandoned shopping. “I can’t make you tell me, but I wish that you would.”
When I try to take a few of the bags for her, she just turns away and stomps into the apartment.
Great, I need to fix my car and my friendship now.
In other news, I have started writing Drarry fic! Since @amywaterwings tagged me in a WIP post circulating in the HP fandom, I decided that I would share a snippet from my first Drarry WIP here too. It's going to be a long one, with over thirty chapters, and I don't expect it to be done for a while, but I already love it so much and I am very excited for it!
“I actually completed my last examination today, so as long as the review board has no objections to my work I should be able to begin my training rotations within the fortnight.”
Ron and Hermione both offered up very genuine-sounding congratulations, yet Harry stayed silent. He didn’t feel like he could speak, despite being aware that this was perhaps the longest he had remained focused on a conversation all evening. Any words he could think to offer seemed to smother themselves in his throat, and all he could think was that if he had finished his Potions Mastery today, he would be out celebrating. The thought that perhaps this uncomfortable evening at a bar alone was Malfoy’s celebration attempted to push its way into his mind, but he ignored it.
After a few more minutes of idle catching up, wherein Ron, Hermione, and Malfoy all pretended they had never hexed each other at school and Harry stayed silent, Hermione excused them to go back to their table.
“I’m glad that you’re doing well, Malfoy, it was nice to see you.”
