I’ve really come to enjoy bookbinding. It’s so weird knowing that just a year ago I was watching tiktoks about the craft, thinking that I wouldn’t be good at it. But it’s so thrilling coming up with new ideas and wanting to try out new techniques (leather journals are next!) and finding a hobby that actually makes sense for me? Not only that, but I now plan on opening my own journal making shop and it’s all coming together.
