i wasn't sure which way casey and mcdaid were gonna take the story after her impalement last issue, but i did have thoughts about zombification, bizarrofication, extracting cells to clone her and the fetus. many thoughts.

what i didn't expect, was for him to burn her corpse for good. and it's a facinating ending for their relationship, considering their love.... could be argued was not really love at first, but most certainly became a kind of love only two obsessive monsters could understand and make peace with. she was his lieutenant before she was his queen. he found a way to bring her and their son into the sun, but we remember who he was before all of that. we remember what he did to lor zod before flashpoint put him out of his misery.

and to know that, and then see him choose not obsess over her corpse, but to instead burn it - that's a major development for a man who's historically been An Obsessive Freak Of Nature.

Well I'm glad someone appreciates that idiot, I certainly don't. I hate that child.
