It can be very fun and rewarding for artists to try new things and branch out!

Tattletail is Ben’s first game made in collaboration with Geneva Hodgson, who has, since childhood, been fascinated by toy horror (such as “The Night of the Living Dummy” Goosebumps books and the Chucky movies). 

On the other hand, Bubsy3D and Sonic Dreams Collection were Arcane Kids projects. While Ben was very involved with making them both, they were different projects with different goals, made in collaboration with different people. 

Character designer (and voice of Mama Tattletail) Geneva Hodgson will be doing an interview and playing Tattletail on Geek & Sundry tonight!

We’ve received several inquiries about the sale of fan-works for Tattletail, so here is a list of policies. 

This list is not exhaustive so if you have any questions please ask! We will probably update it over time. Thank you for respecting our wishes as small, independent creators!

Can I sell prints of my Tattletail fan-art at conventions? Yes-- but DO NOT make these available for sale online, and please clearly label it as fan-art of the game Tattletail.

Can I sell prints of my Tattletail fan-art in my online store? No.

Can I sell commissions of Tattletail characters and fan-characters? Yes, but please clearly label it as fan-art of Tattletail and link to the game’s store page. 

Can I sell fan-art that is R18+? No.

Can I sell my Tattletail fan-art on stickers? At conventions, yes, but do not sell stickers online please. Always clearly label them at your table as fan-works of the game Tattletail.

Can I sell unofficial Tattletail toys and figures? No.

Can I sell shirts/patches/pins/charms/phone cases/other apparel? No.

Can I use official Tattletail artwork (including logos) on anything I am selling? No.

Can I sell Tattletail fan-works on Second Life or some other digital platform? No.

Can I sell Tattletail fanworks of any kind on websites like Society6, Etsy, Redbubble, etc? No.

Can I sell my services in making a custom Tattletail cosplay for someone? Yes, but we ask that you please not sell Tattletail-themed items in an online store such as Etsy.

I found someone violating the policies listed here. Please contact us immediately so that we can take action (or, if they’re your buddy, just politely point them to this list. Thank you so much for helping us out).
