It’s a long story my child….but I guess you all should know. We were made just like any other toy. We were manufactured in a company warehouse where they keep parts to make tattletails. One day though, there was…an incident. A school decided to take a field trip to see how tattletails were made. Each kid that was there was told that they could not touch anything while on tour. As one of the groups of kids were walking, two sixth graders had snuck off, daring each other to climb a very tall shelf of parts. (Now, before you fret even further, Mama will tell you that her old home was a very safe place. Each shelf and container was manufactured and put together properly and were secured in place via bolts and wires, so unless maintenance wasn’t doing their job, everything was safe.)Well, one of them finally got the courage to do so and started climbing….and climbing….and climbing. As this kid climbed, a female worker spotted the two and came over to scold them. As she did so, the climbing child slipped and fell, they hit the worker with the full gourde of their body, killing the woman and snapping the spine of the now on the ground kid. The other child freaked out and went to grab someone, but the damage was done. The parents of the newly disabled child tried suing the company, but lost the case due to their child being reckless and the worker who perished was just trying to do her job. Now…it’s said that the ghost of the worker haunts the warehouse, still doing their job…but she now roams where she can, trying to protect the children that don’t need saving.
