Burning Spice's moral ambiguity is so interesting to me because he thinks destruction is mercy. He has watched the cycle of change repeat itself so many times that he cannot live in the moment and is only waiting for an inevitable end, so he thinks it is best to end things now rather than later. This is a traumatized person using unhealthy coping mechanisms- someone who has experienced the pain of seeing countless people and civilizations meet their own end over and over, so he decides if he cannot stop the cycle of change, his solution is to at least speed it up. He even wants to be destroyed himself, because his own immortality has brought him misery. The least he can do is spare others from that fate

She basically claims he was " just bored" now. I don't think that having a character be wrong about another character's motivations is a bad thing. I just think that it wasn't properly shown that she was wrong. In Beast yeast we are basically seeing the story through the eyes of the golden cheese so if she says that BSC's motivations were him being " just bored " that's what we believe. I think that a good way to fix this would have been to make a character challenge this belief. I think that smoked cheese cookie would have been a good fit for this. He would kind of understand the feeling of having to keep watching the world go on and on since he was trapped in the virtual kingdom. The only problem with this is he didn’t see the flash back so he wouldn’t be able to fully understand what was really happening. Maybe instead of golden cheese blacking out and seeing the flash back it could be told through the paintings. It could be implied that BSC made them and they could slowly deteriorate. Then smoked cheese cookie and golden cheese could be on the same page. Then golden cheese could have her line about how BSC was just bored and then smoked cheese could say something like “ well Maybe he was tired” I don’t think that he needed to be constantly defending BSC but I think it would be nice if there was a little hint that golden cheese’s idea of BSC was flawed. I’m not saying that this would have completely fixed the issue of people misunderstanding BSC but I think it would have helped. I think that this is one of the main reasons his character is so horribly portrayed in the fandom.
