It's been one year since MYTH: Side Two released, and the coolest narrative album concept I've ever heard was completed.
It has been an absolute joy making so much art and starting so many projects out of the inspiration that its given me, and I look forward to doing more!

Given the theme of tourism (and the problems it raises) in MYTH (and its real life inspiration) it sort of got me thinking about how you would even advertise it in universe outside of hyperspecific airBnB listings
But uh, the style of those vintage travel posters just felt like a fun thing to try to replicate, and the imagery of this album is so ridiculously evocative that it's not even fair
I've already edited the original post to match, but I spent a bit of time making a wallpaper picture of all of my MYTH pages! If anybody was interested in using it, you 100% have the go ahead
Locked in for a few days straight and emerged with 21~ pages of MYTH transcribed. Every song, every story, every monologue -- the only thing it's missing is the appendix, which I will probably... append.
Individual pages are under the cut -- it's a long post, so be warned!
Some notes:
In order to fill space and fit the kind of formatting I was going for, most stories (that we don't have the full versions of, so afaik all excluding five and six) have paragraphs of improvised flavour text -- so they are nowhere near fully canon!
There are a few other spots where I just used random words/phrases/quotes as flavour text. My BLUE AND BLACK FROM EDGE TO EDGE page uses an excerpt from deltarune that I quite liked.
Everything on these pages is handmade! The writing and illustrations were just done with pencil/pens I had on hand, and i used a typewriter for all of the print-y sections (e.g. all of the stories are typed out, plus the lighthouse audiobook).
This was a learning experience, and BOY is it ever scuffed -- but I'm happy with that! It was an insanely fun project to work on, and one I can wholly recommend to anyone with the time/resources for it.
