I’m taking time out of my night since its 4:00 am at the time of writing this but, fuck it.
I came across a few posts about LGBT+ and fat issues... and they most of them are ridiculous. As a bisexual pseudo anorexic male myself I’ll tell you this: I get mocked often for being kinda feminine, won’t lie, I am, but I’m not having any depression or mental breakdowns, quite the opposite, I laugh it off, tell dick jokes or just flirt with the jokers to make them uncomfortable.
I grew a tough skin, remember that old saying? “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may never harm me” welp... learn to follow it, I can take insults, being called beta, getting roasted, etc.
Sure, some things can be out of touch or a little dumb outside of context (like shouting [Duh…] dark humor [which I love with a fucking passion] the fat acceptance movement and the T+ side of the LGBT+ community) BUT, when in proper context, I can respect and accept them (maybe not fully accept, but you get the damned point).
Take Shie (formerly TriAxis) for example he… she… they? Idfk, they took it to themselves to keep hidden their sexual identity, only was it at the end of their GD creating career that they came out of the closet, not proud, but assertive. And even if I personally disagree with Shie, I can respect them and their decision, because they were respectful themselves.
I guess what I’m trying to say is… own your beliefs. Don’t expect someone’s views to change, it’s very, VERY hard to change the minds of people, so don’t force them or try to make society change because of them, or else, they’ll end up hating you. (Try guessing why no one wants to be called a feminist or a social justice warrior these days)
So, once you learn to take insults and move on, you’ll learn to be happy, I won’t lie, I’m an awkward piece of shit, but I can take a gut punch and get up, don’t strike back, don’t expose them, just live on, grow up, don’t cut yourself and enjoy the fucking life you were given by whatever god or force you believe in, it’s too fucking short for you to waste it like this, peace!
