hey idk if you were just rpfing but in case you weren’t - will did not switch to center just for mack. he played as a center and was instantly moved to wing because he lacked the phsyicality and defensive ability to play center at an nhl level. he got moved to wing with the possibility of playing center again but then we got misa. Its only this season that willmack actually played substantial minutes together on the same line bc before that they were always separated

I was mostly rpfing, but thank you for correcting me anyway. I’m new to the sport so I appreciate the info, and I’m always open to learning more :)

I haven’t actually watched games from the 24-25 season, so idk how good of a 2C Will was but I have generally heard that he was (and maybe still is?) less solid defensively than Grier and Warsofsky would like him to be.

Excited to see willmack continue to be on a line together next season, though! They’re trending upward after all, and apart from that we also had a really great draft (I think this is the year we make the playoffs 🩵)

where do we think kevin is gonna fall on the spectrum of reliable narrators in aftg

because so far it looks something like this

one one end we have jean, who’s lawful good unreliable—he’s not actively trying to hide anything, he’s just so traumatized his frame of reference is skewed to shit and the only person he’s lying to is himself really

then in the middle we have chaotic neutral unreliable narrator neil josten. he’s also not actively deceiving us, he just has the worst priorities known to man—anything he doesn’t deem important (anything that’s not exy or andrew) he doesn’t bother telling us. like we still don’t know what his mother looked like but god forbid we go 2 chapters without mentioning the solid stable breadth of andrew’s shoulders

and lastly in the jail corner we have jeremy knox, big fat liar extraordinaire. every time he thinks something vaguely concerning he just points dramatically in the other direction and flees towards the closest excuse possible
