“I.. um..” Heikki started, but stopped for a moment to get his thinking back on track while looking up at the doctor. He looked around the room at the crowd before nodding. “I think we’d like that. It might be better for the boys. Actually, I’m not the two o’clock, but my daughter is.” A smile while Lumi grinned and pointed out her right arm in its sling. “She’s all worried about when she gets to play in little league again.”
“Okay boys, why don’t you guys follow Nurse Janine over to the playroom and show her how to use the X-Box, huh?” Rich stands and holds out a hand to Heikki, “Dad here will be able to watch you guys from an iPad in my office. I’m Dr. Wright, by the way. I’ll be taking over for Dr. Fairfield. But please, call me Richie.”
Once he’s shaken hands with Heikki, he’ll get down on one knee and smile at Lumi. “Oh man, it’s getting to be little league season, huh? Well, let’s go into my office and check out your arm.” With that, he’ll lead the pair into his office and hand an iPad mini to Heikki. It shows a video feed of the two boys in a well appointed playroom with the nurse.

The shop was crowded, but Heikki was determined to get a few things that he needed to prepare for his sister’s arrival. It seemed that he was in his own world between the twins babbling and Lumi making sure that they weren’t causing too much of a commotion. But about an hour in, Alex had decided to take Bowie’s teddy bear from the younger twin which started the crying. By the time his daughter had offered Alex a bunny plush and given the bear back to her youngest brother, the nearly one year old twins were in full meltdown. Heikki, of course was trying to calm the twins and his now upset daughter after putting the marshmallow creme in the cart. It wasn’t until hearing footsteps getting closer that his attention was diverted away from the situation at hand to see people crowing around them. “I-I’m sorry! They’re just a bit grumpy since it’s almost nap time.”
“Show’s over everyone,” Richie said as he came out of his office and into the waiting room to hear what was going on. Seeing a bunch of nosy, if well meaning spectators crowding around the father and the terrible twos tantrum. “If you’d like, we have a special playroom set up for families. There’s a dedicated pediatrics nurse who keeps an eye on things. She’s a sweetheart.” “Oh, are you my 2 o’clock? I’m Dr. Wright”
Minsu knew that his obsession with Animal Crossing had taken another level when he couldn’t even take his eyes off of the screen of his Switch. He was searching for a distraction from his research; his advisor had asked him to take a break because he hasn’t stopped since he started during his first year. It was all writing papers and doing lab experiments, no breaks whatsoever. “Hey, so I kind of need you to just take my Switch away from me. It’s taking over my life.”
“So you want it to take over my life, hmm” Richie teases the other male, but still takes the Switch from him. He was just settling into life around town and was still meeting new people. Being handed a Switch made him smile, “I never actually got into Animal Crossing. Partly because I was afraid it would be addictive. So, besides selling turnips, what else do you do?”
