Shepherd was taking his morning coffee on the River Walk and enjoying what he could of it before he was stuck on a tour bus for three months. Dax had big a draw at Pride in the Park the past weekend and though he had gigs in and around Chicago for the month of June, they were readying to take off to criss cross the country and even do a few stops in Canada. Shepherd knew Dax was ready, but he wasn’t entirely sure that some of Dax’s family and friends were ready for the long engagement. Spotting someone wearing one of the wristbands that had been handed out at the past weekend’s festivities made Shepherd double back and fall into step with the person. “Did you enjoy your weekend?” he asked as he eyed them.

Laurens had enjoyed watching Dax perform all weekend and had so much fun with him at his twins wedding. He was so proud of his new boyfriend. He cocked his head to the side when he heard someone speak to him, "oh, yes I did. Everyone who performed was amazing," he told the other man with a smile.

He came back with a smile on his face, “ready to go?”

With a smile, Dax watched him go to the bar and come back. “Yeah.” He stood. “You don’t have to worry about me too much, I promise. Markus is really good at what he does, and my agent wouldn’t have hired him if he wasn’t the best. Any shows you want to be at, really. I’ll just be happy seeing you there.” He blushed.

Laurens kept the same on his face, he wrapped an arm around Daxs waist as they walked. "Well I am glad I don't have to worry and that Markus is going to have your back. Well I promise I'll be at a few shows," he blushed and smiled at Dax as he lead him back to the car.

“Yeah, that’s the good thing about having a friend in the security biz.” He chuckled. “I’d love to see you there.” There was a smile and blush. Dax loved being around the other and seeing him blush made his heart race. “Sounds good.”
