ok real talk. I know Custom jr is not the best weapon around. As someone who plays with it, I can tell that. I do way better with normal jr, for example most of the time. (and that’s mostly because I use Custom jr as an offensive weapon. WHICH IT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE. It’s a support weapon)

But GOSH DARNIT IS CUSTOM JR WAY MORE FUN. And that’s what it is about in splatoon, at least for me. Because god dammit is it more rewarding to do good with custom jr or bamboozler and other under appreciated weapons, than normal jr, scoped E-liter, mini zink splattling and what ever the other “high tier” weapons atm are.

^^^ I don’t find anything wrong with the game having a competitive edge. But people forget that there’s more than one way to play the game, and I really I don’t like when I see people being judged for how they play, or what weapons they use. Nothing wrong with a helpful tip here and there, but as a casual myself, I prefer to find my own way of doing things that better suit me. Even if I could be doing ‘better’, so what? As long as I am enjoying myself!

Just like Pokemon (or any online multiplayer platform) tbh. You don’t have to follow the imaginary rule book. Play the game in a way that makes it fun for you, and be respectful of your fellow players in the process!

But yeah, what you said. Competitive edge is great since it keeps the game alive and people discover some neat tips and tricks. But don’t think that side is the “rule” on how how to play the game. Just because someone makes a video telling a weapon is bad, does not mean you should believe them. And to be fair, even tho the video made me roll my eyes very hard and I can’t agree with it, they did say it was just for fun and they even encourage people to try do good with Custom jr, which I nod to.

Anyway, I’m rambling. This was suppose to be just a silly drawing response but I got carried away. Just play the game the way it’s fun for you and be respectful of other players.

Sifting through my files, and found that I didn’t post these when I drew them months ago. <’3 Figured it’s okay to fire ‘em off now considering the inactivity.

Rain was somewhat of a problem child, kind of a roughhouser... tendency to bite things. :’) Caused a bit of havoc for her caretakers as she grew up.

Howdy all!

Been a busy few weeks, trying to keep the art mojo up and working on several different projects at a time. I'm almost finished writing one, almost ready to post another, and am still working on a small Splatoon-related project on the meantime. And the best news is, it's all only gotten easier. I have been able to create these things much faster than normal!

Still won't be able to say for sure when these blogs will be back up and running full-time. Tomorrow I'll be driving to Vancouver with my family to visit my sisters, and although I'll be taking my laptop with me, it's difficult to say how much work I'll be able to get done throughout the week. I'll do my very best though!

Those of you all still following, thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I really appreciate it. <33

@wasabi-beats I have worked on this since 9 am in the morning, and I say this is the best art I’ve ever made in all my years.. And that’s not many years tho compared to some of my elderly friends :’) But to describe this sketch in one word would be….. “Oodles-and-boodles-of-fun” and we’ll just say that’s one word ;P
