I just got hit with this on my sideblog. Panicked for a moment but then I realized it didn’t really make sense for tumblr staff to tag me in a post like that?

So I’m watching Justice League and I got an ad for an upcoming movie but I think it glitched because the only sound was the movie announcer guy.

So there were just long stretches of silence with stuff just happening on the screen with the movie guy breaking the silence every now and then. It was so uncomfortably funny.

For no particular reason, my brain decided to remind me that I had a Sonic OC based on a kitsune.

Then it told me that I should make her an evil, seductive empress…because why not?

I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

I'll share some of the info below:

Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.

What to do?

-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides

- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!

To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!

Constantly having to remind myself that I take longer on comic pages now cos I'm drawing HUMANS and not SONIC characters.

Just cos I can dish out a Tails sketch in 25 minutes does not mean I need to do the same with my human characters who are VASTLY more complex and literally only have personal reference sheets from Vee and our various doodles/previous pages.

BUT I do hope it'll only take another year or so before I can get my human sketches down to 25 minutes like I did for my Sonic stuff. THAT will be the growth of the century.
