A mum fighting for truth, accountability & justice.
Turning pain into purpose. My story starts here.
Survived the silence. Now I speak.
27th May 1532 saw the first session of the College of Justice (later the Court of Session).
The forerunner to the current Court of Session, known as The Auld Session, was established in 1425 by James I. It represented the first attempt to set up a permanent civil court in Edinburgh, independent of King and Parliament. The Auld Session dispensed justice according to set terms or ‘sessions’ until it fell into desuetude in 1468.
The history of the development of the College of Justice and the overall development of the Scottish legal system is long and involved, tying together as it does political, religious and foreign developments over the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries.
The legal system was transformed as the judicial activities of the monarch’s council and justiciars evolved into a formal court structure. Beforehand justice, in the main was handed down by the church.
The College of Justice was established by the College of Justice Act 1532 and consisted of some 15 judges supported by clerks. Whilst their work and roles have evolved over the centuries, the College of Justice still plays a key role today.
The Court of Session provided Scotland with a Supreme Court staffed by professional judges and legal clerks. As the Court of Session established itself, a secular legal profession also began to emerge. To assist them in their work a new requirement for professional legal writing emerged. This led to the practicks. The practicks were a form of early written reports of decisions in legal cases (the earliest case appearing in Sinclair’s practicks is 1541). These were the forerunner of formal law reports and the Institutional writings.
Changes in the law itself began to emerge with the development of increasingly sophisticated principles in land and contract law and the subsequent inclusion or reform of the law through Acts of the parliament.
While you might think that this is all history, you would be very mistaken, the act is still on our statute books today and was actually used in May 2015 when an English Barrister was banned from representing her client in a tax case, this is a fine example of our legal system being separate from that of Englands.
The first pic shows the Great Window, comprising 8,000 pieces of stained glass covering an area of 390 square feet, was installed in Parliament Hall in 1868. It depicts the founding of the College of Justice in 1532 and shows King James V presenting the Charter of Institution and Confirmation granted by Pope Clement VII to the first Lord President. On the right of James sits his mother Queen Margaret, widow of King James IV. The glass was designed by Wilhelm von Kaulbach and executed by Maximilian Ainmiller of Munich. nother pic shows the King’s Counsel ebing led into Parliament Square at the start of the legal year.

Stranger things for ever
BELIAL The Grimoire of the Masterless ——— A Ritual System for Those Who Have Stopped Asking
Most grimoires describe power.
This one removes what is blocking it.
BELIAL: The Grimoire of the Masterless is a complete ritual system built around a single premise: sovereignty is not granted, it is recognized. The masterless current — Beliya'al, without a yoke — does not respond to petition. It responds to the practitioner who has already begun to refuse.
What you are refusing is specific. The approval that costs you daily. The relationships sustained by your compliance. The internal ceiling installed so early you mistook it for your own personality. The version of yourself that requires maintenance because it was never really yours.
This book dismantles all of it. Systematically. At the root.
Seventeen workings. One initiatory arc.
The Inventory. The Rite of Unbinding. The Cord-Cutting Working. The Throne Working. The Political Working. The Legal Victory Rite. The Severing. The Exposure Working. The Wealth Working. The Magnetism Working. The Invisibility Working. The Pact of Sovereignty — the book's centerpiece, performed only after the preceding work has been done.
What changes:
By page 15, you have done something real — something with fire and a list you will not show anyone.
By page 70, you are moving differently through rooms with authority figures.
By the Pact, you are not the same person who opened this book.
This grimoire will cost you something. Probably something you thought you needed. Possibly something you loved. The unchained life destroys specific things — relationships built on your compliance, identities that required your smallness, the comfortable certainty of knowing exactly what is expected of you.
The book tells you this on page one. It tells you again in Chapter 11, in enough detail that you will recognize someone you know.
If that is not the book you are looking for, there are easier ones.
If it is: the current is already moving.
Non servio. Non peto. Non cedo. I will not serve. I will not beg. I will not yield.

I’ve been a practicing witch for 10+ years, but I have been diagnosed with a few mental illnesses as well as autism and ADHD, so my practice can admittedly be rather sporadic at times 😅 I am now working on being more consistent though
My witchcraft is a blend of a fair few different things… all things liminal (hence calling myself primarily a liminal witch), hedge riding and spirit work, animism and nature reverence, solar magic (I absolutely adore the moon too, but feel more drawn to the sun), & I also dabble in a bit of sea witchcraft since I live so close to the coast. For a long time I considered myself a death witch but, although it’s still a part of my practice, I wouldn’t say it’s my primary focus anymore… no idea what I’d change my tumblr url too so that’s staying 😂
I worship a mixture of my own personal deities and deities from already established pantheons (Celtic, Norse, Hellenic, and a few others). I will occasionally reblog stuff related to deity work, and I will also be making posts about my own personal deities as I connect with them more
My hobbies/interests outside of witchcraft are: video games, collecting plushies, going on long walks, road trips, reading, & writing stories. I’m originally from England but have been living in Scotland with my boyfriend for six years now
I’ll add to this as I think of relevant stuff! 🖤
