when she enters a room, you can feel it:  static electricity in the air,  the hairs on your arm stand up,  metallic dread fills your mouth with a faint unease that you’ve only ever encountered in your dreams.

she is ancient, older than the universe, older than the gods she has conquered.  when she moves, it can be slow, like a planet orbiting the earth - but to her, it is just another second of an eon-long lifetime.

the galaxies she has vanquished reside, splattered in messy freckles across her shoulders and cheeks and back, reminders, no, trophies.
