Waray poetry lovers, researchers, anthologists have been asking copies from me of this first waray poetry anthology by Vicente I. de Veyra. It takes time to type each poem, scanning doesnt work because the pages are brittle, yellow, and old. So.. Im posting images of the pages taken by my android phone. The poems are readable enough. If you have difficulty reading, just click on the image to zoom. Like all blogs, the pages go backwards so if you want to start from the beginning, click HERE. Then just click REWIND / PREVIOUS to go to the next page. It will feel like flipping the pages backwards to the left.
Finally, after thousands of "tomorrows" and "buwas", I finished posting all the poems in Hinugpung, thanks to Merlie Alunan who needed some of the poems here (asap) for her waray anthology. As this is the last existing copy, the poems in this book will be re-immortalized. Again. So in behalf of all the dead poets here and my grandfather, thanks.
