"Oh um yes?"

"Well what if someone hadn't told you that today and I hadn't then you wouldn't have heard it and everyone should hear it at least once a day. Oh um thank you."

"You're pretty." Alex shut up. 

He grinned and kissed him deeply curly his fingers in Alex’s hair.

Alex wrapped his arms around the other's neck smiling into the kiss.

"Well I’ll make sure they only give you looks from me kissing you deeply and passionately. "

"Oh uh I"

He blushed and kissed him deeply. “I’m really sorry I missed out date baby. I hope you forgive me.”

"It's okay I forgive you though it was really awkward. Everyone kept giving me looks."

He cupped the others face and kissed him deeply and said, “I’ll be yours for as long as you want me.”

"Same goes for you." Alex said smiling when the kiss ended before kissing the other once more.

"No I wanna take you out and show you off." He said kissing his neck gently and sighed, "I love you and I want people to see that I’m yours and your mine."

"You really don't have to though.' Alex said shrugging. "But that does sound really nice. I want people to know that you're mine."

He caressed the others cheek and said, “I’m not lying baby. I wanted to be with you rather than drooling into a book any day. Sure I wouldn’t of fallen asleep with you there but the book was rather boring and boop I was out.” He kissed him gently. “Me and you will go at some other time babe I swear. During the weekend when we don’t have any school. I’ll sleep all day to make sure I go to dinner if I have to.”

"Okay." Alex said quietly smiling at the kiss and moved to rest his head against the other's shoulder. "We don't have to go out we can order pizza and stay if you want. Really I don't mind."

"Of course it wasn’t on purpose Al. I wanted to be there, I really did. I didn’t sleep enough last night and I guess I passed out." He sighed heavily and held onto him and said, "I love you Alex, I’d never miss being with you on purpose." He  kissed his cheek.

"Positive. You're not lying." Alex asked turning in the other's arm to look him in the face. He wanted to believe the other but he had been lied to by so many people that had claimed to love him. "I love you too though." He said giving Dax a small smile.

He had known he wouldn’t be a good boyfriend. He didn’t think he could be good at anything but school. That’s what his sister believed about them both anyways and he began to believe it too. He stroked Alex’s hair and cuddled him into his arms deeper. “I’m sorry.” He whispered into his shoulder not really sure if he was awake or asleep. Either way he was sorry because he loved Alex and he wanted him to have the best and be the happiest and he had made him sad. 

Biting his lip, Alex let his eyes open. "Was it on purpose?" He asked quietly hoping the other didn't hear him and would answer in the positive. Alex wasn't sure how he would take it if it was positive he didn't want to think about that. He thought the other loved him and he didn't want that to be untrue. 

Daxton knew he’d done wrong. He’d been tired the night before and when he went to study at the library he’d fallen asleep. Subsequently missing his date with Alex. He set his bag down quietly in the corner and saw the boy laying curled up on the bed. He felt awful. He’d wanted to go on the date with him and take him out for once. This is why he had been so afraid to get involved. He laid down beside him with a sigh and wrapped him up in his arms cuddling him close and kissing Alex’s curls.

Alex had  waited at the restaurant for over an hour. Since he'd said it would just be easier to meet there then go there together since they had different schedules. He'd given up as soon as the pitying looks got too much for him and just left realizing that he had been stood up. Going home, he didn't even bother changing from his nicer clothes before curling up on the bed and tried not to cry. Though he wasn't so sure that he was successful. Feeling another get on the bed, Alex did his best to ignore them. He didn't want to talk.
