Rogue Chapter 31 update

Will be writing again soon.

Still not sure how long this chapter will be. But if it breaches the character limit on A03 I'll split it into two chapters and just post them a week apart.

This is a monumental chapter so lots to it. I don't have a time frame for when this will be done either.

Currently writing a high action scene. Watched Netflix's "The Dinosaurs" documentary and it's a little inspiring for this chapter. lol started narrating titan behaviors in Morgan Freeman's voice inside my head.

Interaction witnessed at post office today:

Elderly lady mail clerk and young customer are chatting. Customer says, "oh! I'm wearing my boss's coat right now, give me something weird to put in the pocket!" Others within earshot all start looking for something because, hey, important quest. Mail clerk finally reaches under counter, pulls out a large roll of labels, and tears one off.

I'm a reseller of vintage things so I'm at the post office almost daily and know everyone there. Plus I know a thing or two about shipping.

Fun Fact:

Yes, this is a real thing. USPS has free shipping supplies on their website you can order. You will not find these stickers, but you will find the kits. There are 3 different ones but all are priority mail express boxes with a big orange label indicating that it contains cremated remains. You cannot use them to ship regular things and of course you can't resell them like all usps boxes because it's illegal.

You see some crazy things shipped quite often. Small live animals as well can be shipped but have very specific guidelines. There's been several times I'll arrive at the post office and someone has sent chickens!

Mickey 2009 (Gotcha Day) - 2026. RIP

Unfortunately today I had to make a very difficult decision to let my first cat, Mickey cross the rainbow bridge today. He came to us as a stray in 2009 during the 'Good Friday Tornado' as he was sheltering beneath our hot tub. We took him in that day. He was our first cat. Although we do not know exactly when he was born but he was approx. 25 years old.

Going to miss him.
