For some reason it's been annoying me more and more that people are talking about Halloween in the summer??

Like it was annoying when Christmas talk happened in summer, but now they both happen. 💀 I wanna be burning in the sun and miserable in peace

I've never liked the holiday. But I was okay when I was no longer forced to go trick or treating when I turned 13.

But people at school had started forgetting my birthday even though it was mid October, and talking months in advance. I guess I just got sad, that there was something everyone loved that I couldn't understand?

Growing to a distaste as all the childhood dislikes of scary things and decline In liking candy persisted. I digress, speaking here since no one may see it.

On top of this, I have personal reasons involving family, and my own fear of getting older to contend with.

Tldr, It makes me lonely and sad in a crowd of people and being so alone for so long has made me mad, even if I don't want to be, or reign on people's parades.

Why does seeing a name alone make the reminder sting. There is no remedy to this. to the ripping of ones soul. We all simply lie, apply bandaids or sew the remains together. I just finished N.D Stevenson's memoir in pictures. I have many thoughts and unsure how to really conceptualize any of them.

There was a scant moment or two where I understood exactly what was being talked about, and people don't always put these things in words.

Of course I liked the art, I mean I've loved Nimona since I was a 15 year old high school student and also really liked she-ra, so me liking his art was a given heh. Guess I can add this book to the things he has made I really like.
