I just had an idea:
Omori x In Stars and Time crossover
Siffrin and Sunny are the KINGS of using self destruction, dissociation, and isolation to cope with their problems. A crossover would be amazing.
Now exactly how the swap will go is tricky because the characters are not narrative one-to-ones, so figuring out who to swap with who is kinda tricky.
The ideas that were flowing easiest was Omori characters in the ISAT setting, so Imma start there.
One day SOMETHING attacked the land of Vauguard, casting its curse of terror upon the land until everyone became petrified with fear. Housemaiden Basil was the only one to escape the house of Dormont. Thought to be blessed by the Change Cat (in actuality, he was blessed by the head housemaiden Abbé), he began his search for the orbs. First he recruited Aubry, a fighter from Joventine. She was personally offended the defenders were too chicken to help, so her and her gang volunteered to go with Basil. Next he met the traveling siblings, Sunny and Mari. Basil and the gang had been ambushed by several strong sadness. The sadness had taken out most of the gang, leaving Basil and Aubry the only two not petrified. Fortunately the siblings swooped in just in time, saving their lives. Lastly Basil encountered the brothers Kel and Hero, a kid and a researcher from Bambouche, who were looking for a way to unfreeze their family. The brothers completed their little party.
This idea is still in its beginning stages, so I'm still figuring stiff out, but this is my start.
