A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.

Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.

Perfect score means perfect spy. She is their pride and joy, she is literally their poster child. Yes, well their poster child doesn’t know it yet, but she’s into me.

Haha! You know every morning since the news that there was a Bechloe kiss became public knowledge, I’ve woken up half expecting to see it on my Tumblr dash.

And every morning half of me isn’t surprised that it’s not there.

This morning however...!

I mean my toddler’s just woken up so I’ve not really got time to say much right now. But what I will say is:

• I’m not surprised it’s intended as a blooper (so consider these observations as though it was a rehearsed scene I guess)

• I wasn’t expecting Beca to pull Chloe off Chicago (but what brilliant fic writing content that provides!)

• ‘Chloe’ attempting to lift Beca up was great - like she’d thought about it heaps over previous years and now the moment had arrived she realised that perhaps she wasn’t as strong as she’d thought..

• Chloe dragging Beca away by the hand. Beautiful.

• Even Chloe (Snow out of character) laughing at the end could be her just feeling so giddy with excitement that she couldn’t help herself when she saw Theo and Chicago taking the pi**.

• SPEAKING of Theo and Chicago...wtf... like stop hogging the blooper limelight!

• But the “I always knew” line from ‘Theo’? Yeah also great fic writing content.

• AND Theo as Beca’s Bi-BFF? Yeah that’s also new fic content I could get on board with... (Theo hitting on Beca, her explaining she has a thing for Chloe, Theo saying he low-key has a thing for Chicago..)
