hate to do this
hi, this is worm.
worm, to me, is family. he’s been there for me when my parents weren’t, and he helps me through my panic attacks and aides my sleep.
in recent times, worm had been diagnosed with having a UTI (urinary tract infection), and barely recovered from it. the prescriptions for his food and medicine broke me and my mom financially for awhile, but we came back from it. as of three days ago, the symptoms have returned and he can barely bring himself to eat or drink.
i cannot afford to bring him into the vet again.
i hate, hate, hate to do something like this at this time when there are more important matters, but i really can’t lose worm. last time, a visit to the vet cost me 300 dollars. i’m not sure what it’d be this time, but all i know is it’d be around there, if not more. please help if you can, im sorry to ask for something like this.

9/18 update
we were able to get him to the vet! turns out he had a blockage forming which would’ve been really really bad. luckily, we caught it early enough that the medicine they provided helped break it up. he’s doing a lot better now but we’re keeping an eye on him just in case.
thank you all for your help! any extra donations beyond this will go to affording his medicated food which is, admittedly, expensive. a bag of his food is about 40 bucks and the wet food is about 5 per can. again, reblogs always help, thank you so much for helping my boy.
