Had some much fun yesterday in a southwest Finland meeting called VW-Weekend 7.. Friends, barbeque, cool cars, perfect weather and even an TOP-5 trophy to bring home. Awesome!

Yeah it was about time to change the shift rod bushing located inside the tunnel, don't you think?

Carb woes as i seem to have a faulty one at my hands. After checking float levels and needle valve, it still keeps leaking from the axle(!) after the accelerator pump squirts gas.. puzzled now.

I'm sure there will be big learning curves with setting up the carbs and we're anyways looking at 1-2 months before it's warm enough to take it out.. But still i just had to drop the top for some inspiration.. Always a morale boost 😎

On a positive note, at least it was looking rather good for a moment!

Progressed to first start attempt, which ended in a pool a gasoline under the car. It appears the carb on number three cyl is leaking. Something is faulty, which means dismantling everything, yay!
