btw you're allowed to enjoy two differing interpretations of the same character and you don't have to justify why you like it to anyone. you can like your evil character to be malicious and serious and you can like depicting them as a silly goober. you can enjoy seeing people draw two characters in all sorts of different contexts and dynamics without having to pick one over the other. you don't have to come up with a complex reason. you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. you can like a character multiple ways without having to justify why it's not problematic or why it's not weird. do what you want. it's fandom, not a testimony before the court.

There is a council of Philips in my mind 💜💜 one of my favorite things about him is how much is up to interpretation and how many fine details of characterization you can play around with,,, why settle on one version when you can have many?

THIS. This is why I love the Wittebane fandom so damn much. Nobody else can better embody the "fine, I'll do it myself" mentality than the wonderful, creative people in this community. I am so excited for this album, y'all don't even know. Magpie is one of my all time favorite creators and a very dear friend, and I have been so fortunate that they've trusted me enough to share some sneak peaks of the project. With this in mind, I can honestly say that Y'ALL ARE NOT READY. This album is so thoughtfully put together and is such a remarkable love letter to a character who deserves so much more than what he got from his original source material. Seriously you guys, we're about to enter a Wittebane renaissance thanks to this. COUNTDOWN TO SATURDAY STARTS NOW.
