My first "serious" tool purchase was a Festool Trion jigsaw. I used to lay out patterns on two sheets of 18mm Blatic Birch plywood to cut out my Dust Furniture pieces. And this beast cut right through. My wife was a master frame cutter for a while. Now, I design in CAD and cut parts with our CNC router.
