This week we have an embarrassment of riches (writers) here at Virginia Tech: on Monday 3/18 we have poets Laura Eve Engel and Rebecca Morgan Frank from 4-5pm in Shanks 370/380; on Tuesday 3/19 we have author Zadie Smith at the Moss Arts Center (free tickets for MFAs and Creative Writing majors at the MAC box office with your VT ID!); and on Thursday 3/20 we have poet Melissa Stein at 7:30pm in Shanks 370/380! Come out for some literature!
We are totally thrilled to welcome poet sam sax to Virginia Tech next Thursday 2/21 as part of our Visiting Writers Series! sam will be giving a poetry reading at 7:30pm at the Moss Arts Center in the Cube, and a craft talk at 4pm in 370/380 Shanks Hall! Our next Visiting Writers Series event is nearly upon us! On Thursday, Feb 22nd, we’ll be welcoming Rachel B. Glaser as our Soniat Writer, chosen by our MFA students. Rachel will give a craft talk at 3:30pm in 370/380 Shanks Hall, and a reading at the Moss Arts Center in the Grand Lobby at 7:30pm. All events are free and open to the public!
