keith: uhhhhh i don’t know. i was thinking winter??

keith: well lance has this whole thing about summer being his “birthday season” so we basically can’t celebrate anything then ‘cause he’ll whine about it “detracting” from the celebrations, and i hate spring in general ‘cause of my allergies, so that leaves either fall or winter.

keith: and like, we can’t do fall because you and adam already called dibs, so that’s why i settled on winter. which actually kind of works? because lance says winter in cuba is really nice, and his entire family is already there so we’ll save a ton on transportation costs. plus, lance’s grandparents are getting kind of old and stuff, so the less they have to travel the better. so yeah, winter in cuba. i’m still working out the details.

Team Voltron at Korean No Rae Bang (Karaoke)

Voltron: Legendary Defender ended with its eighth season this December 2018. Back in June 2016 in an interview, Kimberly Brooks, the veteran actress who voiced Princess Allura, mentioned that she had “welled up with tears” on seeing Allura’s character design for this reboot.

Regardless of how each of us may feel about the show and its final season, we’re all sure to agree that Allura has been one of the most important and lovable characters. Feminine, strong, a great leader, a survivor, compassionate, playful, spirited, revolutionary– and it’s Kimberly who brought her to life with her depth and range.

We’d like to host a hashtag campaign/event for VLD/Allura/Kimberly fans. All kinds of messages are welcome, from fanart to fan letters to cosplay, as long as they are based on our appreciation for Princess Allura and Kimberly’s work. We plan to archive the collected materials to a twitter account (@thankyouallura on twitter) and reach out to Kimberly so she can read/view them.
