If Tarn lets go, Vos will probably just remain exactly where he is, latched onto his chest. “Kaon introduced me. They’re so CUTE! I want to steal them. Congratulations.” His ember ached slightly to say it–once upon a time, he’d dreamed of being that close to Tarn, and the children reminded him that he still had none of his own–but he WAS truly happy for his teammates, and he wasn’t going to let a single ounce of his own melancholy prevent him from congratulating them properly and sharing in their joy.
