TS4 Beard - “The Thigh Tickler”

So you’re with your lover and suddenly they whisper, “Za woka genava.” You and I both know that if you even hope to get a chance to woohoo with them, you’re going to need to ramp up that relationship quickly before the topic changes to duck jokes. What better way to make them swoon and prove that you’re worth marrying in two minutes flat than to sport a full, luscious beard and stache that tickles a little more than their puckered lips? 

I love beards, and this is no news to anyone that knows me. This full beard is Maxis match in texture and does not distort the neck area which can prove to be a problem for beard editing. The inside of the neck area is also smooth. I don’t believe in editing my previews to hide blemishes. Why lie?

Ahhh, CAS. The home of many custom content creators. 

But those terrible blue and green backlights that haunt our screenshots? Those need to go.

That’s why my amazing modder buddy @arensims​ and I built this mod. All pictures above are completely unedited!

There’s 4 flavours for you to pick from. Please only choose one:

Default CAS Lighting 

Has the default CAS lighting.

For those that like the default CAS lighting.

Removes the blue/green backlights.  

Neutral Spotlight

Has bright lighting sources of equal distance and intensity. 

Ideal for general CAS screenshot use.

Removes the blue/green backlights.   

Render Lighting

Lighting similar to EA renders. 

Ideal for producing render-like CAS screenshots.

Removes the blue/green backlights.   

Overexposed

Super bright, flash lighting. 

Ideal for glamour shots with a little bit of editing.

Removes the blue/green backlights.  

Please note that white clothing might appear extremely bright with this variation.

Goodbye my lovers! (goodbye my friends)

So I’ve decided it’s finally time I stop lying to myself - I’m done with the sims. I don’t find it fun anymore and I have no desire to play or create left. I can’t keep saying I’m coming back when I’m not. 

So, here’s a little funny picture - the first picture I ever took on the sims and the first piece of CC I released - compared to my favourite builds and photos from the year. I still get messages all the time from people who are too afraid to start a simblr or too afraid to post their CC - to those people I say just do it. You’re never going to get better until you throw yourself out there. We all started off terrible! 

I also wanted to say the biggest thank you in the world to all of the people on here who day after day made me smile. You’re all wonderful, kind people and I cannot repay you for all of your help, your support and your kind words. You’re all so wonderful.

Thank you to the CC creators who make this terrible game bearable - thank you for the time and the effort that you put into your creations. Thank you to everyone who helped me with my n00b-ass questions and gave me the feedback I needed to hear. 

I don’t want to be one of those CC creators who just goes MIA, so:

All of my downloads will remain active - nothing has been removed and you can find them in my CC tag on SimFileShare or DropBox. Unless there is a technical error somewhere, everything will work.  You can do whatever  you would like with my work. If the links go missing, feel free to re-share or re-host.
