Okay that was a roller coaster
Predictions:
Lotor is not dead. Still evil though despite wishful fangirl thinking. He got a bit nerfed due to losing his charisma and ability to inspire others by getting drunk on power, but he always had the makings of a good villain. I say he’s going to somehow go through a rift and wind up in the Altean Empire and hook up with Empress Allura for the Lotura power couple the fandom deserves
Something is wrong with Earth. Not sure what. Maybe the Galra have already taken over there when they weren’t looking. Maybe they’ve sent sleeper agents (or regular undercover agents) to subvert the garrison and the rest of the military. Maybe the Earth scientists have begun their own work on the quintessence since learning about it and it’s corrupting them the same way it did to Honerva. Maybe even Papa Holt. But it’s not going to be a glorious return home
Despite that, family bonding will take place as all the Paladins are introduced to the others’ families that they haven’t met yet. Lance’s parents are overjoyed their son is alive. Hunk’s parents cook a massive feast with all of Earth’s delicacies for all. Coran likes it but comments that it’s just not the same as a home cooked giant slug or something. They visit the grave of Keith’s dad and he and Krolia bond.
