“This was a bad idea. I can’t see anything.” He mumbled. Right before bumping into a teenager with a large build, tan skin and what seemed to be an orange headband around his bangs.

“Why should I? You just left us without saying a word.”

“Pidge…” Shiro started warningly.

“Ugh, fine.” The gate clicked opened within seconds and Matt walked in, tying his hair while he was making his way towards the school. He took off his glasses for good measure and threw them into the bushes where he mentally reminded himself to pick up later. Matt reached into his pockets to find his contacts, but his search was in vain as he could not find them.

He cursed to himself as he tumbled into the school building, blindly reaching out to make sure where he is.

“We can hear you y’know?”

“Whatever. On my signal in three. One-”

“Matt’s already gone.”

“Oh for goodness sake.”

“I’m in.” A deep voice said over the comms. Shiro snorted before covering his mouth with his prosthetic arm. “Pidge can you not. It sounds weird in comparison to your original voice.”

“Not to mention it sounds lame.” Matt complained.

“Ugh. Anymore complaints before I call the security guard on you?”

“Why am I working with you people?” Keith groaned. The four of them were sitting on a school

roof, waiting for Allura’s signal to go in.

“Remember team, no freelancing today ok?”

“Relax pretty lady, we’re professionals.” Matt scoffed, stretching out his arms.

“I assume you’ve chased them before?”

“Of course. As a detective you can’t help but run into thieves every once in a while.” Allura huffed.

“Which is why we need you.” Nyma explained.

“But I’m not a thief.” Allura blinked in confusion, setting the documents down.

“Thieves, we got. But I need one honest person to watch over them.” Rolo looked at Nyma and

then to Allura. “Are you in?”

“What’s in it for me?”

Rolo smirked again. “The pay is $300,000 but for you, we’ll double that.”

“Make it $700,000 and we have a deal.”

Rolo leaned forward. “Listen. I’ve paid good money for this to happen. Five years and a hundred million dollars into planning this. See- no. Look at the people I hired.” He took out a few folders and placed them in front of Allura. She took them and started to look through the documents.

“What is this? The Broganes- wait, You hired Pidge Gunderson?!”

“Is he someone bad?”

Allura crossed her legs and leaned backwards into her seat “What have you got?”

“We want The Blue Lion.”

“The Blue Lion?” Allura cocked her head. “Interesting. And you want me to find him correct?”

Rolo smirked. “Oh no, we already know where he is. We want you to capture him for us.”

Lowering her magazine, she raised an eyebrow at them as they sat down in her booth. The woman then slid a glass of wine over which she took suspiciously.

“Who are you?”  Allura asked, inspecting the wine before swirling it in its glass.

“It's not poisonous you know.” The woman huffed with an amused smile.

Allura narrowed her eyes before holding the glass of wine to her lips. “What do you want?”

Allura tapped her fingers on the table as she flicked through her magazine.
