Courage is knowing what not to fear❤️

“Boss are you okay!?” one of the men say rushing over, the man just nods over at the younger boy. Boss? You thought to yourself, who the hell were these men. “Put the gun away” was all he could get out before he started closing your eyes, you rush back over to help checking his pulse “We need to move him now and get him somewhere where I have tools to remove the bullet and stitch him up!” you say turning around looking at the group of men who were with mixed expressions between shocked and amusement at your determination. The guys nod, working quickly picking up the man and you move with them applying pressure. Well looks like you wouldn't be going into work today. Who the hell were these guys. You were about to get into the van but paused, what if they kill me? One of the younger men look back at me and sighs “We wont hurt you, you tried helping him, help us save him” you bit your lip and nod jumping back into the van, you knew doing this would change your life probably forever but you couldn't just leave the man you had to make sure he lived. The ride was quiet and you were only focused on the man laying infront of you, you heard a few men making phone calls and such, as soon as the van stops moving you look up seeing all of them heading out and you follow them. As they throw open the doors to a basement room you didn't ask questions why the hell they had all this doctor equipment. A few men stayed in the room to make it very clear they still didn't trust you, you were a stranger obviously. “Thank you Luke for finally coming!” you hear one of the men say, you look up for a second as you were trying to remove the bullet seeing a shocking look on his face he leans in and talks to the men asking who the hell were you. After he walks over to you “Are you hear to help” you ask putting a bullet on the tray and he stutters for a minute “Well I am normally the doctor” you nod your head “Good then can you hand me all the tools for stitching him up?” he was surprised but agreed and did what you asked. The other scary men left the room figuring this boss mans life would be fine with the original doctor Luke was here.     An hour later you sigh taking off the gloves, going over to wash your hands in the sink as Luke washed off tools and everything you hear him speak up. “Im sure you have lots of questions”, you turn around nodding “of course I do” you say with a dry laugh “But lets make sure he will be fine first” you sigh looking at the man, sitting back in a chair and Luke nods also doing the same thing. How did you end up in this mess? You say looking up at the ceiling, exhaustion took over you as you looked at your watch seeing the time. Damn its already 10pm you been here since 1pm. You didn't realize it but before you know it, you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep. Soryu woke up, coming familiar with his surrounding, Luke stands up making his way to Soryu who sits straight up “ah shit” he says and Luke chuckles “You shouldn't be sitting up yet” Soryu rubs the back of his head looking over at the other chair he sees the woman leaning her head up against the side of the wall sleeping. “she's been here the whole time and she knows nothing, she saved your life” Luke says following Soryu looking over at you. “What a mess” he says with a sigh, “What are you going to do about her?” Luke. Soryu shrugs rolling his eyes “I cant let her just run loose after this, she's seen my headquarters, knows mine and my men's faces and seen you so I'm not sure and it would be wrong to just kill her” Luke sighs nodding “I will call Eisuke and the other letting them know how you are”. Soryu watches as Luke leaves the room, and he gets up off the hospital bed walking over to you, you were a mess with blood all over you he couldn't help but notice how pretty you were though even when you were sleeping in this condition, your face was crutched up, no doubt a nightmare after what happen today. He looks around seeing a blanket in the corner, picking it up he puts it on you gently before leaving the room he leaves the room closing the door heading to his office giving you one last look.  You begin to stir waking up , as you heard the door close, you look around remembering what happened and gasp seeing the bed empty with no man around and everything clean. You shot up wondering what you should do, did he die why you were sleeping or something!? You run over to the door opening it, you came face to face with one of the men who was watching over you before making sure you weren't going to hurt their ‘boss’ or whatever. “Where is he?!” you ask the man with a stern voice and he rolls his eyes “Watch who you are talking to miss, he is in his office he told me to take you to him once you were awake” you cross your arms giving him the same look he was giving you “Good take me to him” he turns his back to you sighing and you follow quietly behind him down the halls. Passing by you see all eyes on you, conversations stop and everything just to look at you, this house was huge did all these men live here? Lost in thought you weren't even paying attention and ran right into the mans back “I'm so sorry” you say and he just knocks on the door opening it a bit “Boss she’s up” all he says before pushing you in the room by your arm “HEY!” you yelled at him glaring “You shouldn't be so rude!” you were yelling at the man who glares back at you “Do not disrespect me infront of the boss” and you got closer to him staring him down daring him “Well maybe you should be nicer to someone who just saved your boss” you spit the words out without even thinking. The man goes to move closer but someone clears his throat behind you and speaks in a stern voice “That's enough” you turn around seeing a man walk over from his desk, he was still shirtless and you see the bandages wrapped around him that you just worked on, but damn you would be lying if you didn't say he was hot, hot but scary and dangerous “I'm sorry boss” you turn your head to see the man bow and take his leave from the room. You turn around looking at the ‘boss’ He looks you up and down, you looked exhausted worn down, lost and confused. He comes closer and you just watch him looking up to meet his gaze you spoke first “You shouldn't be up yet, I'm not even sure how you are” he chuckles rubbing the back of his head “Don't worry about that but thank you for saving my life” he nod smiling a bit “You are welcome” he nods returning the smile a bit, he gestures to a couch and you sit down on it and plops down on a chair slowly on the chair sitting across from you. “I'm sure you have tons of questions”. You look at him nodding slowly “Why were you attacked?” you bit your lip seeing him surprised by the sudden question and he sighs knowing he had to be honest. “They were a rival mafia gang”, you nod at first and he was watching was watching your expressions change “Wait did you just say mafia” you went into shock, everything on you felt numb. He nods sighing “Yeah and you saved a mafia boss” you look over with wide eyes gasping “Oh my God that's why these men call you boss! You are all mafia people” you shoot up from your chair beginning to pace and all he could do was stand up as well and watch you, “That means that doctor also works for you and oh my god he is known as what they call an underworld doctor an- OH MY GOD YOU ARE GOING TO KILL ME!” you looked over at him horrified and he was shocked as you started taking steps back from him. Soryu was so shocked by your sudden outburst as he thought you would be but never expected you to be a little calmer then expected “I'm not going to kill you” he said speaking softly putting his hands up “But I cant really let you go either” you gasp sinking to the floor as your legs gave out from underneath you, tears rolling down your face, he walks over to you quietly kneeling down infront of you. “You saved my life, the last thing I want to do is hurt someone who has done that for me” he spoke softly, causing you to look up and see a soft expression on his face. He didn't realize what he was doing next but keeping locked eyes with yours he reached out and wiped a tear on your cheek “So what now?” you spoke your voice broken. “Well” he sighs looking around before back at you. “You could work for me and I will protect you with my life, you could still be a doctor just be a doctor here. You looked at him, wondering what life would be throwing at you next but the words he was saying you believed him and honestly you wanted to know more about him and not really leave him, so you began to nod your head “Okay” you say softly and he smiles gently holding out his hand, he helped you to your feet. “I'm glad you agreed, I know this is so sudden and even for me I don't open up easily especially women but you are different you even talked back to my men”. You bit your lip remembering that “Well I had no idea who they were” he chuckles “I know but that's still pretty brave, and all those men will protect you too” you smile as he leads you out his office you both walk side by side “We will go get all your stuff out of that cheap apartment and I will show you to your room”. You were shocked “You know where I live”, he looks over next to you smirking “don't worry Y/N we had to do a background check on a back talking strange woman” you were shocked at first but quickly smiled “Well I would rather live here” you mumbled and he chuckled. “So when do I start?” you stop infront of him and he looks down at you determined and he was surprised.  “Boss!” You both look over seeing a man holding another man who clearly had been shot, Soryu looks over at you sighing, “How about now? I know you are exhausted but I promise after this you can rest and shower” you look at him nodding “On it boss” you say winking before running over to the men telling them what to do helping you leading the hurt guy down the steps.  He watches you smiling softly a bit, yeah he made the right choice. He may be falling for a doctor who was crazily accidently thrown into this life.
