Prompt(s)/Idea(s) for blime fics (or really anything) that you can take to write if you want or bored and need a writing challenge:
First thing I wanna say, I ain't the one who can write so it would be completely okay if somebody takes these ideas as, once again, writing challenge or something.
Second thing I wanna say, I guess this would happen in like AU "canon divergence/no imposters/nobody dies/pre-show", just to be clear.
Third thing is, IT'S BLUE X LIME BLIME OKAY??
So imagine something like this
Blue has a doctorate in poetry, and they use it in a hobby as well. They not only read but also write. They would write ever since high school, and their library would be full of different stories, from small comedy to long detective horror to even what some would consider fanfics of shows they've seen and books they've read.
But just so happens they've never written a romance story. There's really a lot of it, "any fool can write a love story" Blue says to themselve and so even as young adult decides to never write such stories.
Blue figures out they were really wrong.
On a spaceship thousands light-years away from destination, there's not much you can do. So naturally, Blue comes back to their old hobby, using a brand new notebook to write in. They didn't try to write a love story but it was pretty clear who and what incidents were up in their mind as they tried to write. And Blue wasn't really happy about the final outcome. Not only it's unprofessional but also incredibly wrong. Sometimes ideas were even based on simple misunderstandings and Blue would often tear the pages out of the notebook, feeling stupid for not seeing it through. Not to mention how cheesy all of them ended.
They really REALLY tried to write something else, maybe a fantasy-detective story or even sit-com crap, but subconsciously it would often just so happen to match 1:1 their recent talk or incident they had with Lime.
Isn't the monster in Blue's fantasy world is so scary and well written? It's the exact one Lime told them about. The monster is defeated by so strong and clever tradesperson. Sit-com story where a bluecollar saves the day fixing the leaking pipes but accidentally gets a minor injury a household member then treats? Just on this week kitchen had problems with the chimney and Lime accidentally burn their hand fixing it. Blue definitely was grateful to themselves for such detailed memory of rough calloused but warm palms for description in the story. An action story with setting in Middle Ages slowly turning in love story between an alchemist and a craftsperson where no one understands them like they understand each other?... List just goes on. One could say that notebook was the most messy one.
One day pages just end, not to mention how busy Blue was lately, so they decide to give themselves a little break from writing. But just as they do, somebody else finds the book. Maybe Yellow and/or Cyan. It's pretty boring and such find is pretty interesting. They pretty much read about half of the notebook, from the first pages they immediately figure out about who the stories really about. It's not like they had intention to embarrass Blue, they actually were quite intrigued by the literary style and really exciting stories. They gossip about it a bit, with Brown and/or Black maybe. They even wanted to tell Lime, but as soon as they figured it a rumor about something personal about their closest friend, they immediately left, not wanting to invade Blue's private life like others.
Okay that was a lot, tl;dr: Blue writes fanfics about themselves and Lime where they fall in love :b
Maybe I'll do one more of these text dumps I'm just tired rn
