michael took anne's paintbrush, dipped it in water and the red colour as he applied it under her eyes.

"there. all done," he says and anne looks into the hand mirror to she her pretty little face.

"papa."

"yes princess?"

your mischievous daughter grins, taking another paintbrush, dipping it into the paint as she cheekily painted two round circles on her papa's cheeks and one big one on his nose.

he laughs, "what are you doing, princess?"

"making you look pretty," she concentrates, "aaand finished!"

"...papa," she holds his hand as she says this, "you look like a clown."

the both of them hear laugher from the hallway. they turn to see as you stood there, arms crossed at you observed them.

his moans made you weak at how he was feeling you up on his lap, mouth placing hot and wet open mouth kisses on your neck.

his hand comes up to grip your jaw, his mouth captures yours, placing one deep, slow, and loud open mouthed kiss before he starts dragging his tongue on your bottom lip.

he was pleased with himself as he looks at you. your eyes hazy as you panted, lips swollen and thoroughly kissed, with a string of spit breaking that was initially there after parting.

michael runs his thumb on your bottom lip, collecting the spit and pushing it right back into your mouth.

you hum around his thumb, lazily sucking. he watches with a smirk, looking at your lips so pouty.

his phone starts ringing.

and he picks it up, his thumb still in your mouth.

michael tells that he's busy, while pushing down on your tongue again. you gag, tears spill from your eyes. and you hear the laughter from the other side of the call, as that person calls michael a bastard for picking up the call even in this situation. it was embarrassing. the person on the other side literally heard you gag.

michael pulls his thumb out, hanging up the call as he gently urges you off his lap.

"michael..." you call his name before you could stop yourself.

he stands up, fixing himself, "tomorrow. same time. i'd rather not cum in my pants like a fucking teenager today."

you simply blink, confused.

yoichi smiles, "such a sunshine. y/n, you sure you could handle her?" he asks, crouching down to rose.

you look down at her, she smiles up at you.

michael had grown hatred over yoichi as the time passed. maybe it was envy that yoichi actually had a purpose, while michael was nothing but mischief.

"don't you have work or anything, yoichi?"

"oh i have. unlike you."

michael clicks his tongue, something smart was about to come out of his mouth when rose beamed, "mister cupid! take me to work with you!"

they both blinked as rose left your hand and hugged yoichi, her little arms around his waist as she giggled, "what say y/n? leave me in charge?"

"hm. ego won't mind."

"yeah, all he cares about is getting the work done," michael chuckles.

"who's ego?" rose asks curiously.

"no one. just a guy that says 'lock off, lock off'," yoichi mimicks.

rose didn't really find yoichi's work interesting. all they did that day was sit on rooftops, shoot heart shaped arrows at two people and watch them fall in love.

rose didn't find your day interesting too. it was scary rather. as she watch a woman on her knees, begging you to give her more time to live.

"didn't know i was having visitors today," michael smirks, "missed me angel?"

"she's staying with you," you say blankly like you always do.

rose runs towards michael, holding his hand, "people in love is gross. and i don't like watching people die."

the whole day, rose and michael played hide and seek in the could, tag games and what not as they jumped from cloud to cloud till night fell.

rose never saw you with any other expression than blank.

michael and yoichi watch in horror.

"SMILE~~~~" but as soon as her hands left your face, you go blank again. nothingness on your face.

"miss angel..." she calls, disappointed, "do you hate me?"

"i dont hate," you hesitantly reach out, patting her head, "nor do i love."

it was almost like rose was waiting for this moment.

but at the same moment. michael hears them. voices. cries. not the scary kind. not to him. he looks around, he sees them. souls. hiding.

rose pulls away from michael as she hears your voice, "y/n...!" she almost trips, as she runs to you. you crouch to her level, catching her in your arms, "i only wished to see you smile!"

a soft, small, but genuine smile on your face.

rose cries again but full of happiness, hugging you tight.

michael looked at yoichi. a silent look that said you're seeing this? to which yoichi just nods with a smile of his own.

michael almost melts as he looks at you, "fuck, she's cute."

then you all look up to see a voice cut through the silence.

"man, the clouds didn't listen to me this time."

"tabito!!" rose beams, running up to him.

michael sees it again. the voices. the cries again, "i feel them..." he closes his eyes. and when he opens them to see. they're not hiding anymore. they're not scary. and this time, you all could see them.

"do you get it?" tabito chuckles, "they're your responsibility, michael. the lost unloved souls."

"you really have all the answers, don't you?" yoichi nudges tabito.

"i also have another answer," tabito continues, looking at michael, "well, you know rose is rose."

michael went silent. then a laugh escaped his lips, "i...ive a sister...." he smiles so wide, rose's grin mirroring his as he picks her up, spinning her around in his arms, "ive a baby sister...!" he places a loud mwah on her cheek, "i love you, rose!"

"i love you too!" she giggles, "but there's someone else who you need to say that to."

michael's grin softens. he places rose down as he steps towards you, cupping your face, and you smile. yes, you do when he confesses.

the two of you meet in the middle, his lips pressed on yours.

yoichi, tho a cupid, fakes a gag as if that kiss grossed him out.

tabito smirks, "about damn time."

ITOSHI RIN !

sakura slept through most of the afternoon.

you catch rin checking her temperature twice in the past twenty minutes. his face hardly showed anything. but you knew better. he was overwhelmed.

"sakura," he calls softly, tracing her warm cheek.

you smile softly, leaning towards him, "rin," you call, "it's not your fault."

he stayed silent before he asked, "how did you—"

"you must be thinking that you should've stayed home with her yesterday, no?"

"...the park was windy."

"and it's still not your fault," you say, resting your head on his shoulder, looking at your babygirl laying small on his lap, "she's gonna be ok," you couldn't help but to trace his little features with gentle fingers.

that makes sakura slowly blink her eyes open and grab your finger. rin exhaled, relieved. that's the most sakura has been active today, "sakura," he calls, and melts when she finally gives a smile to him.

ISAGI YOICHI !

all yoichi knew was that his little yuki, who'd usually filled the house with babbles and giggles, had barely made a sound since morning. her tiny hands too tired to even clutch her papa's shirt when he held her.

she eventually fell asleep in his arms, "yuki..." he calls.

"she's asleep," you say, "you need to put her down."

"...i don't want to, y/n," he says, caressing her hair, his fingers brushing her forehead, "she's warm."

you chuckle, "fevers usually do that."

"i know...i just feel so helpless," he looks up at you, "can we check her temperature again?"

you nod, getting the thermometer. and when checked, yoichi visibly relaxed after seeing the temperature drop, even if it was by just a little.

"y/n," michael calls, with anne still laying on his lap, "y/n...she didn't finish her bottle."

"she'll eat when she feels better, don't worry," you gently take the bottle and place it aside. you sit beside, leaning against him, comforting him too, "she's gonna be ok, michael."

"i know," he really does. he believes you. believes what the doctor said. believes the medicine. but that doesn't stop him from worrying. not only that it's anne's first fever, it's michael's first time being a parent too.

"anne," he says softly, "princess."

anne stirs. michael doesn't panic. he wanted to see her active and babbling again.

even tired, she tried reaching for him. he pulled her closer and she grabs his big nose and giggles, "there she is," michael smiles finally.

you chuckle as she reaches out for your cheek, patting, "what do you have to say for yourself, young lady?" in answer, she babbles.

when entered the room, "alright," yoichi sighs, "how do we do this?" the three boys already started debating on which bed to sleep on.

"me and y/n!" bachira chimed, "on the bed near the window!"

to end the nonsense argument, rin simply grabbed your wrist, pulling you to the bed.

you pay no attention, only focused on the instant noodles.

suddenly back in the hotel room, no one was really sleepy. so obviously, the two beds were moved and pressed together to make one big bed as the four of you sat in circle while bachira tells a horror story.

yoichi and rin had their arms crossed. you leaned your head on rin's shoulder.

"and then...the mosquito was actually the boyfriend of the girl in previous life."
