Lmao not that it ever got off the ground but I kept thinking someday . . . Someday I'll find the motivation to overcome the weird writer's block that only seems to afflict me when it comes to smut . . . Who cares if it's a couple of years down the line, right??

And then D2D started charging an annual fee. For all accounts that make LESS THAN 100 DOLLARS annually. I'm not interested in paying 12 dollars for the privilege of someone maybe buying a book someday when y'all are already taking a commission!

Anyway, I've delisted the one short I actually finished and I'm planning to put it on AO3 along with a couple other things. At least that way I'll get some damn kudos!! I'll be keeping this page just so anyone who wants to chat can find me (I'm always open for comments or concrit!). And maybe having a separate horny AO3 will help me stretch my orginal writing muscles. One can dream . . .

A little bit about me:

I decided to start off on tumblr because it feels like it's the most open-minded, plus everyone I've ever met in the fanfic community has been lovely and helped improve my writing skill by quite a lot. And I really wanted to write for a discerning audience. Fair warning though - quality writing means plot written well, not that the plot won't be a bit silly sometimes!

I'll be writing F/M, M/M, and F/F stuff, ranging from vanilla to kinky. I'm not trying to build a money-making machine, but a community (plus I have real life to deal with) so I'll be writing fairly slowly (with ZERO AI). If you're interested in hanging around to check out my work, you're more than welcome! I'm super happy to chat with anyone who's interested, get tips on how to do this whole self-publishing thing, and generally make a little niche to settle down in with this blog. :)

In the dead silence left in their wake, the hunter sheathes his sword with practised ease and turns to the bar, ignoring the eyes on him.

“How much do I owe you, miss?”

The barmaid is no longer cowering; she looks at him with something like awe and something like terror. “Three — three crowns, sir,” she whispers.

The hunter goes to his table to collect his things, and drops three coins on the bar. On the way out, he pauses by the door and looks back, jaw working. “Protect your own,” he mutters finally, red gaze seeming to burn every single face as it sweeps around the room. “I will not always be here to do it for you.”

He ducks outside, and smiles grimly to himself as an indignant uproar starts up behind him. Hopefully they’ll learn the lesson. (Read the whole thing here:)

The man’s hood falls back. Someone cries out in shock; many more gasp; parents shielding their children behind protective arms now clutch them to their chests. Boris’s friends, who had surged to his side, fall back in terror.

The man, who dwarfs even Boris, is made all the more fearsome by the many scars marring his skin. His face might have been handsome in a past life, but is now weatherbeaten and sun-darkened, littered with cuts and bumps; most horrifying is the deep gash that slashes from temple to mouth, carving a gash out of both lips and bisecting an eyelid that has clearly been stitched back together. Blood red eyes gleam evilly, framed by dirty, tangled black hair half pulled back into a topknot.

Boris takes an involuntary step backwards. “Hunter,” he snarls.

“Yes,” the man says, his voice rumbling deep in his chest. His jaw is large and square, his nose crooked, his neck thicker than a bull’s; his arms look like they could rip apart a horse. “I don’t usually concern myself with humans. But you’ve bothered the lady enough, and ruined the peace for the rest of us. You’d best be on your way, now.”
