omfg OpalApparition removed all her non-Heated Rivalry works from her AO3 and stopped allowing comments??? Which is absolutely her right to do but this looks like she’s never coming back:( I am so grateful Opal left those works up, but also (and not to be so presumptive here because she could come back if she wanted to but this is really a very strong look that she will not be doing so) I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose an outlet like that. I really feel for her. Selfishly, I am very sad it looks like the chances of us ever getting more of her Heated Rivalry works are gone. (A lottt of ppl have been commenting asking for updates, so I get her choice, and she deserves to make it, and I can’t imagine how much negativity she was getting tbh this fandom is vile to authors) The removal of her works for other fandoms makes her account look to be like a graveyard to her public hollanov works. I had been keeping hope that maybe in a few years she would share again (and she could!) but realistically this is a pretty clear sign that this is it. I am so sad. (Opal, if you by some chance see this I completely respect you and your choices, I just wanted to rant on my very rarely seen page, and I hope you’re well)

omg insane thing to say when there was Claude artifacts left in the source code, her beta reader said that Opal used AI, and Opal has literally admitted to using AI for her works. People really will go to any lengths to defend the authors they like 💀
