The young mage tilted his head upwards, eyes peering up at the other dark haired youth through strands of shadow with a glint of curiosity and felt his lips pulling into a grin. Tomes and the like were common to those who took a careers as merchants or individuals who took up arms, but learning new things was always grand, whether or not it was himself or someone else.

Though they were useless to those who did not use the arcane arts.

"Magic?" he echoed after the younger. "I thought magic was only in fairy tales." apparently he was wrong. Raven locks tilted slightly as his head turned, admiring the giant book as well as it’s dealer. This was truly fascinating to the shadowdawn park ranger, his wild cat eyes were glittering with excitement. “You know, I don’t get to see people around where I live.” he paused and took a step back. His hands rested firmly on his waist belt before he observe the other with a cheeky grin. “What’s your name?”

 It appears now he’s in another world. Thank god he was. It’s been an awful time spending his days alone at his theme park.

There were times where the universe placed young Maus in curious situations that he would swear could not be accidental.  They had to be, he knew rationally - in a seeming infinite number of universes and the human ability to attribute meaning to events, it was simple probability.

He awoke in this world of his own accord, to the sound of footsteps not far away.  The moon shone overhead, casting light to silhouette a ferris wheel piercing the sky, the first thing in his view.  He followed it, tracing the shadows down through the abandoned world, and locked on the source of the sound.

The air was much thicker in several parts of his hideous kingdom. This was a dark, but radiant park that beholds a shadowdawn prince and all his calamities. The many troubles he's dealt with; the many faults, schemes, pranks... They all lie here. And yet he succeeds to win all his childish games with his own mind. Tonight, however, was different. He could not win, nor did ne fade to the losing side. His surrounding was cool, almost too decent to have a causal guard on his back. Did something scared all the activity out from the theme park? Normally with a metal rod lodged in his bag, Crow would have to whip that out and fiend off some dogs or wack a couple of birds to put them in their place. But overall, tonight was just too quiet for anything to be stirring.

As lonesome as he was, Crow managed to make his rounds around the park without any disturbance. He strolled down to the merry-go-round that was near the main rollercoaster, across the yard towards the gigantic ferris wheel, and followed the main road way where the double tunnels meets the entrance. Huh, Strange. As if as he was all alone, he could still feel another presences lingering in atmosphere, but whom might this be? Green cat-like eyes scanned the blacken tunnel holes that was at head of his park.
