Tunnel vision on life, searching thru the dark

Not set on a role, not playing any parts

Just tryna give you something that will spark ya thoughts.

Life is a series of baby steps,

"For without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods" - Aristotle

1. A friendship based on pleasure is when two individuals discover they share common interests. This in turn results in a greater pleasure for both parties. This is because they would never achieve this greater pleasure if they were acting alone. This type of friendship should be the one that last the longest, or as long as the two people continue to share a common interest. This in a sense contradicts the saying "opposites attract". Many of us tend to surround ourselves with individuals who are similar to ourselves. When this common interest fades, so does the friendship. 

2. A friendship grounded on utility, is a friendship based on benefits. This friendship is more like a business. You only maintain this friendship because of the benefits involved. The benefits can vary, such as emotional support, money, security, protection, success, etc. This type of friendship is not one that contains loyalty or trust. It only last as long as the benefits are present. This kind of friendship is stressful because each person is in it for personal gain. You are consistently watching your back because you don't want to be taking advantage of by the other person. Which goes with the saying " do not mix business and pleasure" literally.

3. A friendship for the good, is a friendship based on bringing the best out in each other. In this friendship neither the utility or pleasure exist. This is the friendship that most people are looking for. When you sit down to talk with someone, you want their advice. The advice they give you, should bring out the best in you. You want a friend that is going to pick you up, and not keep you down. Aristotle pointed out that this kind of friendship you can only have with a very small amount of people. This is because this type of friendship last forever.

     Appreciate, the Laughs over the tears

The seasons change, as the years appear

My future is bright, plus the past disappeared

My fears in the rear

Made it to the finish line

yet the truth isn’t here

The production is slow

The credits have been steered 

The tradegy is conflicted

The grief has been smeared 

questions still unanswered, why are we here?

Living in a dream, cuddling with the enemy

Life's never been a friend to me

Dreaming of survival at any cost

A world filled with glitter, fighting for gold

Got a Soul so cold, with a heart the size of a iceberg

Crossing the edges of nightmares

Dancing with religion

Questioning God's, still begging for forgiveness

There you are Sitting on your throne Beautiful as a sunset Cruel as a dictator With millions of hearts willing to cater Love was once a solider Now it’s a traitor Blood flows with emotions of flavors Lips same taste of danger That smile is a mirage Those words form a collage A storage of heartbreaks, fill the garage Pardon all who have lost, your soul is the cost Boundaries have been crossed, guns have been drawn My soul is gone in this battlefield of Love

As a child you wonder As an adult you question With age you heart is fonder

This path was not bright, this path was not dark, this path was made to set apart.

Meant to engage, meant to challenge, the worse thing in life is wasted talent. Mistakes will be made, regrets will be spoken.

The years will flash by, the days will seem hopeless.

Only the strong minded remain focused. The pain will be endless, and the joy will be countless.

When that clock stops, the road has been paved.
