Chris: Krakatit is a Czechoslovakian thriller / sci-fi film about a chemist who invents a highly dangerous explosive and he has a breakdown, sort of a film noir Fritz Lang style film, Watch: When Free.

Chris: Passenger is a horror film about a folk horror roadside apparition, the problem was the weak script and the villain not being fleshed out and boring, Avoid.

Richie: That one was not very good, none of it worked for me actually, Avoid.

Chris: The Killer Goldfish is a Japanese comedy / horror / fantasy film about killer goldfish, the plot is insane and the film is quite strange with odd graphics, Watch: Rent.

Richie: This movie was a mess, just all over the place, it kind of annoyed me, Avoid.

Chris: Mother Mary is a drama / thriller involving a pop music star’s connection with her designer, much of the film are the two actresses having conversations interspersed by lush visual sequences and musical performances, quite a lot of energy, interesting, and Michaela Coel was very good on this, Watch: Rent.

Richie: I loved it, it had my attention from the beginning to the end, Watch: Rent.

Chris: Satan’s Triangle is a 1974 tv movie with Doug McClure and a good cast involving a boat in distress in the Devil’s Triangle, it is amazing how much of the film was shot on location, and it does have a good ending, Watch: When Free.

Richie: It was ok but predictable, Watch: When Free.

Chris: Rocketship X-M is a sci-fi film with Lloyd Bridges going to Mars in a super-crappy rocketship, Mars turns out to be populated by cavemen, and the film is a bore and devoid of fun or strange effects, Avoid.

Chris: The Cat Girl is a British horror film about a lady who believes a family curse causes her to turn into a vicious big cat, a psychiatrist is involved, but is she really transforming or a nutty cat lady, this kept my attention, Watch: When Free.

Chris: From the Old Earth is a Welsh short horror film about an excavated stone head, an object of power, that calls up an old god, this was the first Welsh-spoken horror film, 45 min and kept my attention but rather dry on fun, Watch: When Free.

Chris: Pitfall is a Canadian horror film about a hunter after people in the forest and he uses pits for trapping, the plot is told in an awful manner not in chronological order becoming a mess that was too long with not enough pay off, Avoid.

Richie: That movie was a big mess, none of the parts melded together well, the story was all over the place, Avoid.

Chris: Hold the Fort is a horror / comedy film about a couple that moves to a new neighborhood with a very strange homeowner association, funny, well acted, fast paced, high quality, Watch: Rent.

Richie: It was entertaining, a fun watch, it could have used some polishing here and there, Watch: Rent.

Chris: Obsession is a horror film about a timid man who uses an object of power to make a wish to gain love and it goes horribly wrong, good soundtrack, creepy scenes, and kept my attention, Watch: Rent.

Richie: I thought it had really good performance, good music, and it was really well done, Watch: Rent.

Chris: Man with a Movie Camera is a silent Ukrainian film from 1929, it is an early experimental film that follows a cameraman going across a city send what he films, a pastiche of footage of what life was like in the USSR 100 years ago, historically and cinematically interesting, Watch: When Free.

Chris: I Love Boosters is a comedy / sci-fi about an organized shoplifter gang targeting a clothing designer and then they run into sci-fi tech, hilarious, surreal, very creative, highly recommended, Watch: Rent.

Richie: I thought it was a very fun watch, one of the more entertaining films recently, Watch: Rent.

Chris: The Bluff is an action film about invading murderous pirates, a super violent film about the lady who fights them, the violence sort of wore me down and tired me, and it looked good and shot well but too violent and not offering much, it is watchable because it just falls under two hours, Watch: On Subscription Service.

Richie: It was a noisy, violent pirate movie, Watch: On Subscription Service.

Chris: Hungry is a British horror film about a tour that runs into killer hippopotamus, underrated, much better than I expected, Watch: Rent.

Richie: Hungry was a very good animal attack movie, the hippo looked good in it, Watch: Rent.

Chris: I am Frankelda is a Mexican animated fantasy film about a girl who falls into her fantasy world, with excellent stop motion animation and cool characters but I found the songs tiring and the girl herself to be annoying because she flew into monstrous rages, so don’t miss for animation, Watch: On Subscription Service.

Richie: It was visually stunning, but the music was not good, it it is still worth a watch, Watch: On Subscription Service.
