Timelapse video of Virush Prototype game.
This game was played out through the turn base system being, player 1, Player 2, Virus.
By having both players have their turns before a virus was able to go, made the game style much easier for the player to move on the board. With this game style we found the game became more of a strategy game with the players working out a route back. The game became more interesting once the players had collected their tokens and were on their way back down to the start point. An example of this was player 2 taking the lead down the right hand side of the board but getting their path blocked which then made the final few turns increase in competition between both players. Player 1 ended up gaining the victory as they were able to use their item cards and create a path for them to travel down back to the start point.
By playing two different styles of turns, I am able to add two difficulties to the rules so players can vary in the way they play the game.
