Differences

Rock smiled up to the Reploid. “Hello, Lily. My name is Rock. It’s nice to meet you.” He was glad this stranger ended up being quite friendly. “You’re right, I’m not a Reploid. I’m a Robot Master. That’s the model of androids that precedes Reploids, I believe.”

He did feel a little nervous when he noticed her closing her book. He hoped he wasn’t interrupting or bothering her. “Oh, um, I guess sightseeing.” He certainly wasn’t here to join something called the Hunters. “If you have time, I would be happy to get a tour of this city. I’ve never been here before.” 

She listened to his words, ears twitching slightly as she watched him curiously. 

“Robot Masters, hunh? I guess what you call Robot Masters is what we call Mechanaloids.”

She gave a soft smile at him, reassuring him that he wasn’t a bother. 

“I would love to give you a tour of the City, Rock! It’s really nice when you know which places to stay away from and the best places to go are. Not many reploids really want to join the hunters anyways, but a tour might as well include the base a little. The base is my home, so you may see a lot of reploids and humans asking for my dad’s autograph. He’s, ah... World famous along with Uncle X.”

She picked up her backpack and slung it over her shoulder.
