              it looks like the boy had been running across the entire city just to get to him -- panna stops in his tracks, even going to grab narancia’s arm to stead him so there’s no bloody nose in his future from tripping on himself. ‘ careful!! ’ he scolds automatically before there’s a clumsily wrapped box being pushed with bruising force into his chest. he takes it -- crude paper surrounding it. ‘ ah -- you didn’t have to do all this for my birthday. ’ not that it isn’t appreciated. he looks back into violet eyes, maybe just the hint of a smile on his lips.

“Ju~uuust the person-fellow I was looking for!!”

He quickly shoves a small box into the birthday boy’s hands… and gently… well, firmly… pats them shut.

                   frankly, he’d forgotten he’d even told mista what his birthday was -- it must have been passing conversation, something that didn’t even linger in his mind -- since they’d moved in together, there had been hundreds of conversations shared in the walls of that small apartment. so he’s surprised in a series -- first that he’s hugged ( though, to be fair, he’s getting used to that with mista around ), and secondly that there were well wishes. 

                   and then -- there’s lips against his cheek and they’re warm and soft and he feels red heat him instantly. cheeks and ears flush, eyes widen -- heart, he dare admit, skips a beat.
