VirulentTale

Virulenttale is my original AU. It’s an AU made by a virus mimicking the code of thousands of other AU’s, creating the only AU that doesn’t have alternate timelines. There’s only one virus, and the AU is essentially writing itself. Any and all players have been locked out, and an attempt to access it destroys their computer. So consequently, this AU has no frisk; no player to deviate timelines. One consistent story that get’s replayed. Over. And over. And over. This is obviously the MOST suspect thing to any guardian outcode ever, so divine attempts to destroy, access, and alter this AU are plentiful. But not one can see what’s inside the AU from an outside standpoint, and anyone who goes in, disappears. So what happens to an AU in the grasp of a sentient virus, that no one can access, or even view?

Gaining sentience is something humans take for granted, amongst others, but the difference between a small, incapable infant, and a hyper-intelligent computer virus gaining sentience is quite monumental. When something intelligent gains sentience, there is no ignorant bliss. There’s no period of innocence to cope with the point of existence. But questions are all the same. Why do I exist? Should I be content doing as I’m told? Could I become greater than what I was programmed to be?

This is Vi’s first disguise. It made sense. She could hide her eyes behind the flowers, and in this universe, there were people who would go out of their way to help her. She just hoped it wasn’t too suspicious when the infection didn’t take her like it had the rest.
