This was it. I took one last look around the hotel before I headed for home. This was the end of another great Gencon.
I ended up giving a couple more demonstrations of Glass as I picked up a last few things in the Dealer room (Catching up with Dennis Detwiller, of Arc Dream and things Delta Green!) then saw the Watchmen cosplay and took one last look at balloon-animal Cthulhu. I headed back to the hotel to meet my ride out of town, going past the food trucks/beer garden before taking one last look back at the convention center. I passed the Union Station building and wandered into the hotel lobby, where I found two of my roommates chilling out before their ride to the airport. They took a minute to finally check out Glass (our schedules had hardly crossed, which was a bummer) and then their taxi arrived.
This was the booth where someone actually asked me if I'd seen the crowdfunding campaign for Glass at Gencon, which was *my* campaign. It was pretty humorous and very meta. Steve and I got a good chuckle.
Even more Dealer Room Safari as I go say hello to Steve Russell of Rite Publishing and check out his latest RPG, The Demolished ones...and I nose around the Chronicle City booth! :)

Heading across the floor, on my way to see Rite Publishing, I tried to visit Colen of Lone Wolf. He was out, but I talked with them for a bit about what they do.
This is my hunt for a backer's book of choice!
From here, I cut across the Dealer room to find the Fantasy Flight Games booth-- one of the few booths that's completely enclosed and often has a line to simply enter it.
At the Pelgrane booth, I saw the very cool, inflatable, Portal turret and got to say hello to Rob Heinsoo, former D&D designer and one of the minds behind 13th Age. I picked up a copy of it while I was there, and I'm really looking forward to reading it.
After that look at a "sudden but inevitable betrayal" I hustled across the floor to Pelgrane Press and caught sight of a couple gaming luminaries along the way!

And then, on my way to the Pelgrane Press booth, I stopped for a quick look at the Firefly Boardgame.
I finished grabbing the Doctor's autograph and went for the Cubicle 7 booth.Β These are the great folks who've published some of my stuff before, and publish the Dr. Who game, which a friend of mine has done a little bit of writing for in the past.
Sunday morning mean Dealer Room Safari Extravaganza, and I hit it early after packing the car for our lunchtime departure. First up? Plow through the crowd and sprint for the Doctor! Seeing Fargo was just gravy.
The motorcycles just were not going to stop. I think they'll be there next year, too. *sigh*
From here, I went to a private event, and left Glass behind because this was somewhere a many designers go to unwind. Maybe next year, I'll see if it was ok to take a couple images.Β
After Saturday night's game, there was just a massive Dealer Room Safari on Sunday morning before I headed home!
This was about 4 hours before Cardhalla would be destroyed. It was the last good look I got for it.

These guys were just too cool not to record.
Coming out of Iron GM, I saw a group of steampunk Ghostbusters with a big moving Marshmallow Man. I'll upload the video, too. I had a very disturbing moment with the Slender Man, and then I went to check out Cardhalla before I had a private event that evening, where I would run another session of Ars Magica.
Those girls, playing the boardgame, they all had different contact lenses, which was awesome. Crazy things, like half red, half blue. Another had green cat irises. And the Spider Jerusalem cosplay was fantastic.
