Uhm, yeah, I don’t have an answer for you on that, I don’t think too much on it. Idk if it’s just poor first impression, but all I can really say is this (again):

I’m not posting this ship to compete, nor is it the only ship in the world I like, I like other content involving the two. I’m just chilling and posting what I like, same as anyone else. I’m also not forcing it on anyone. Wild that I even have to say that.

Whether people walk out of here liking it or not, I just think the support is sweet and I’m glad y’all at the very least like the edits and art, that’s literally enough. Otherwise, I don’t care what anyone ships, I’m not gonna raid someone’s inbox. I honestly didn’t know there were rules to utilizing Varian’s character.

so I haven’t been very consistent here, nor have I been creating many edits or artwork, though I have been doing some reposts on pinterest ( xxwooldawnxx ). I have a lot of reasons for that, however…

the biggest reason is because I’m finally in the process of putting together a fic for these two after a solid two years of putting them out there. I’m still in the process of planning and gathering a solid plot. I’ll be doing a re-watch of the tangled series and the incredibles, to reintroduce myself to the characters and know them again, but I’m hoping I can reach a flow state and come up with something coherent.

I haven’t written a full fic in a long time, I’ve been in a huge rut with writing as of late, but I’m hoping it’s not so bad that this story will be absolutely dog-shat. fingers crossed I even stay committed.

I’m a multishipper, so I’m not tied down to this one thing, and I won’t go out of my way to wreck someone else’s ship just for the sake of my own. So you’re totally fine, I used to be on the Varigo train myself and they’re still nice to see from time to time. :) the account was made for fun and just to introduce something new to whoever might be likeminded.

In no way am I forcing anyone to ship Virian or even like them, so it’s perfectly okay if anyone doesn’t see them together. Not that you assumed this, I’m just mentioning it for future reference. It’s probably really annoying seeing all this in the tangled tag tbh.

Next point, I don’t have a fic YET. I’m really trying to put one together, hence my brainstorming, but it’s so hard since I struggle putting stories together a lot of the time. So I just need my edits to do for now 🥹

I’m brainstorming if vi and her family were just canonically in tangled, right, forget the superhero agenda, it’s confusing me. I need this crossover to make a lick of sense. this is just brainstorm, I’ll keep working on it. ( +Virian stuff)

I think her family would be from Koto, solely because that kingdom is depicted with the standard American/Euro fairytale look ( at least, the royals are ). Violet is American, so it just makes sense that would be her origin kingdom.

Their association with Corona is completely up for discussion, but honestly? With all the magical business there ( i.e; sundrop lore ), it’s probably the one place having superpowers would be somewhat normal. maybe, I’m doing my best.

but I mean idk, maybe the superhero agenda can stay and they’ll just be known as “crusaders”. girl i don’t know.

I’m not gonna pretend Tony doesn’t exist, that subplot would go hard, sorry.

virian isn’t even a thing until season 3 and yes I’m the one who decided that but it still sucks. so my edits are basically season 3-core.

girl with unbreakable barriers meeting unbreakable golden hair and mysterious unbreakable rocks is a fun concept, I feel like. imagine confusing the ancients like “oh shit which incantation was that?” and it doesn’t even exist, she can just do that.

Violet and Cass unironically being sisters that are mutually sick of this and want to go home, are probably stressing over the same people that aren’t getting with the program. ( they’re the realest ones here )

Violet thinks the science guy is really cool. Is she gonna say that? No. Keep it to herself for 2 seasons because his intense crashout threw her off? Yes. They have 1 season to make this work while also supporting the main plot and time management is hard? Also yes.
